The London Air is by Newmar which closed up this year. Well, actually Winnebago purchased them.
It's a really nice unit.

It's your money but I think you want at least two slides. We had a MH with no
slides for a dozen years and it was cramped.

I actually want NO slides. However I want a real home also. If I can’t have that I may want those slides.

What are the major differences in the door being in front of the steer wheel or behind it? I’m thinking clearance however looking under them them seem to be the same.

Doesn't make any difference at all. Once you get used to driving you'll not even notice. You drove semis, it's like driving on of the old cab overs.

The Winnie I looked at the other day proved to be too beat up for being so new. The first time I saw it it was raining.

I’m now thinking of something like this to get me by till I can find a house.

Edit: I’ve done some research on National Tradewinds and they went out of business in 2007 because of laminate issues they backed up under warranty. It cost them too much and couldn’t find a buyer for the company.

On the NT forum many say they were really good and used standard parts which are still available.

Laminate problems are serious problems. As far as I know there are very few fixes for it. If you buy one and it develops that problem you'll have a hard time selling it.

Few fixes is what drove the company out of business. What I’m told is if it had the bad laminate you would know by now. Apparently the bad laminate separated in just a few month. The 2003 was far enough before the problems. The problems started in 2005.

Going through a dealer is proving to be a nightmare. The sales person is telling me anything he thinks I want to hear. I saw the records on one and it was problem after problem.

Private sales won’t answer my emails.

At any rate this Class C has no pull outs which I like.

This is my latest choice from a private seller. I’ll be viewing it on Wednesday. I sign the closing documents on my home sale in about two hours. It takes about two days to record and get ready to transfer the funds. Then it takes to days to actually transfer the funds. I should have the money by Friday.

One reason I picked this one is I can buy it with other funds and don’t have to wait. I would have preferred a newer unit although this one really seems nice and clean. The Winnie I looked at was almost brand and was filthy. It also had dozens of minor problems.

Yes, looks nice and big enough to be comfortable for long term living. Would you be able to tow your Subaru with it, would be handy to have it for your morning Latte runs.

I may pull the teardrop or store it. It would pull the Subaru however it’s right at the max. I would just as soon buy an electric bike. I will most likely sell the Subaru.

I’m not sure how long I’ll full time RV. It’s not something I set out to do. I have said all along I will go with whatever life hands me. That being said I may just have to buy a latte machine.

I'm not familiar with that brand but that coach is very similar to what we have. In fact it looks almost identical.
We have a 330 Cat, but that 350 Cummins should do the job just fine. Allison is a fine transmission as well.
One thing to check is the age of the tires. If they are older than 7 years they probably should be replaced. I've tried to
run them past that age and it didn't go well. I had a set of Michelins and one blew and took the other dual with it.
Next, run everything! Make sure everything works. Start the genset and turn everything on.
I see it has a satellite dome. Lots of times those are obsolete. Check to see if it works as well.
Of course drive it. It should pump up the air bags in a few minutes and then ride like floating on a cloud.
As far as sitting in front of the front wheel, don't let it bother you. You'll get used to that quickly.

A closer look and I saw the CC on the wheel. Is that a Country Coach model? If so they make a fine
unit. In fact when they closed their doors Winnebago purchased them so they're now part of the
Winnebago family. Maybe we'll meet at the Grand National Rally.

That coach will easily pull your Subaru. I tow my full sized Ford Explorer and hardly know it's back there.
Can a Subaru be towed four down or will you need a dolly?

There AWD Coop the only way you can tow them without tranny damage is on a trailer. According to what I read
