Lots of rain overnight. I haven't checked the gauge yet though.
Gun Club banquet last night. I had a full liter of a local Lager in a very large glass mug.
In fact it was so large I used two hands to lift it.
Then the special of ribs, shrimp, and chicken along with beer cheese soup and french fries.
Got home in time to watch the last two innings of the series with a martini.
Slept quite well.

What a CRAPPY day. Wife had a Dr. appointment today and was driving to it (it’s like 7 blocks away). I get a phone call 2 minutes after she left and apparently she blacked out in the parking lot, jumped the curb and ran into the building. She was put into an ambulance and sent to the big city. She was admitted to the hospital. She has been going through a plethora of tests. Spending the night while trying to stabilize her. So my adult beverage tonight is chocolate milk. Hope everybody has a great night and stay well, skål!

Finally had a moment to relax, watched college football and the World Series with a Guinness and an Irish on the rocks.I really appreciate all the well wishes, this is a great group of people. So to all the forum, thanks and Sláinte!

Glad to hear things are looking up brm.

I finally made it to the surgeons office for my two week post op check up almost three weeks late this week due to Mary's covid. I had around fifty staples removed from seven areas. I stopped the Oxycodone cold turkey. It's out of my system for a week and that's enough to raise my glass of Wild Turkey tonight with water and salute my fellow forum members.

After getting the wife all set for the night I sat down in my easy chair and fell asleep till 5:30 this morning. So no nightcap and i hope everybody had a great evening and a belated skål.

Yep, beer and popcorn and the World Series. I liked both teams but leaned a bit towards Atlanta, so
a happy outcome.
