I would like to see them make an adult sized BOLT action rifle (RF) in a lighter weight for older and/or disabled people who can't handle the heavier rifles as they used to shoot in their HIGH volume shooting days!

One or five rounds ONLY and they can SHARE the simple magazines like the CZ brand does in a few of their models. I would like to see this as a complete rifle and not a break apart or take down rifle and not in a youth model.

I would like to see them make a SINGLE SHOT falling block action rifle like the classic Steven's Favorite that I used to own too. Mine was a NIB 'Stevens Favorite' MODEL but it came from SAVAGE. I would like this in a LIGHT WEIGHT model too.

Savage is a good brand and that rifle was sweet but we downsized a LOT and did tons of caliber consolidation too.

You know as much as many of us would like Henry to make other items they might be better off just sticking to their specialty of making lever firearms.

I would like to see Henry add the 35 Remington to their line and the 32 Special for us old guys that hunted with the old 94 Winchesters in 32 Special and the 336 Marlin's in 35 Remington. Make it in the case colored model with 20" octagon barrel but round barrel would still be fine.

After seeing the TV program, I thought I might like to have the .410 lever action (I love lever guns), but after doing some reading, I'm strongly leaning toward the single shot 20 gauge, instead.

There are a few companies making "mule ear" shotguns. Am I mistaken that all the lever action shotguns are 410 two and one half inch shells only? I just don't see it when a good pump or auto loader would use three inch loads= more pellets per shot and 91 grain 410 slugs don't measure up to a .45 Colt or 45-70 bullet. I admire H.R.A. for bringing out new long guns on a regular basis but I just don't think the lever 410 will be a big seller. Only time will tell.

With the break action single shots on the way I would like to see a "long tom" version in 12 gauge. Old timers with these were legendary in their areas and the owners seldom sold them either.

Sorry to confuse. The long tom around here (eastern WV) is just a term for the long barrel shotguns. Most have 32 to 36 inch barrels. Many of the hunters who carried them became known as very good shots and hunters in the hollows and communities. In my granddads and fathers early years deer were scarce here. Most hunting was for small game. Turkey, rabbits and squirrels were pursued far more than today. As a kid the first day of squirrel season was highly anticipated by all the hunters. The guys carrying these long barrel shotguns made some very long shots on game. Perhaps the long sight radius helped. The ones I remember used high brass shells and some even magnum loads. They reached out and touched them in the tallest timber.

Yes Travlin I remember well. A buddy of mine has one of those. Around here they mostly banned them from use in turkey shoots. They made a 10 gauge as well called "Super Goose" I believe. You will see a Model 55 for sale online once in a while. I used to run from bolt action shotguns as a young man. Now I find them very interesting and always a conversation piece. I have a nice little Stevens model 54A 410 bore. It is very trim and light to walk in the woods with. Funny but it's 24 inch barrel seems long on that little trim gun.

I wouldn't mind having a 20 gauge but don't need a new caliber. I bet I already have about two dozen caliber firearms.
