We had a meeting last night of the Holding Corp I am Vice Chair of. For those who don't know about this,
we are trying to revive our American Legion Post. The Post is bankrupt but we have several acres of really
prime real estate we wish to develop. Last night we met with a really large developer and our goal is to
create a Veteran's Village along with a new post. This has been going of for a year and I think we are close
to signing an agreement. It will be scores of affordable apartments with a veteran's preference for residents.
Anyway, got home about nine and had a two martinis and slept well. :D

Cheers guys!!
Sounds like you are both having an enjoyable night. Getting ready to look at my eyelids. Got up earlier than my comfort level this morning. Had my driveway re-surfaced, ( asphalt ) today and was on my feet through the whole process. Then...went grocery shopping with Carol. Not sure which activity was worse...🙄

Happy hour last night with friends from the gun club. Double everything before six O'clock.
That meant two orders of wings and two large steins of beer. I had one order of really hot ones and
one order of BBQ wings and two Octoberfest steins of beer.😁
All Summer long on Wednesday afternoon the gun club is open to shoot trap and skeet and usually the same folks
show up. Next week is the last Wednesday night of it for the year so we have a banquet at a local supper club.
Then it's the long cold Winter until we start again.
Course we shoot rifles and pistols all year long depending on the weather. :D

Just cracked a Modelo. Went to the range today and shot the Leman Full stock 54 cal for the first time since I have owned it. It shoots excellent. Hit the Buffalo at 100 yards a couple times and went 5 for 5 on the chicken at 50 yards. Felt pretty good about that. That 54 cal puts a hurtin on that chicken

Oh I'm not much on the rye whiskeys.
If they make a small bottle I might try it.
