43 heading to 76. A nice weekend ahead then next week 60’s and hopefully some more rain.
Playing golf today, should be just about a perfect day on the course.
Put my boat away yesterday and moved the snow plow blade out which was stored behind the boat. If that doesn’t demonstrate the change of seasons then nothing does.
Dogs got me up just past six this morning to a nice 61°. I cooked bacon, eggs, flapjacks and coffee for breakfast. I don't usually eat a lot at breakfast but was feeling a bit hungry this morning. The general and I went to the range this morning and had a good time (see "shooting steel". Stopped by a new Weinerschnitzel that just opened on the way home. I haven't had one of their bratwurst kraut dogs since I left Ft. Worth back in 1976. I used to eat there when I was a poor apprentice at the repair shop there. Prices are a lot higher than back then. It isn't bad for what it is. I'm glad to see one finally open in this area.

our temp dropped to a chili 49 last night .... up to a beautiful 56 by 9AM .... supposed to get up to 76 later today .... regular breakfast .... no major plans for today .... watching "Top Gun" made in 1986, staring Tom Cruise
50 and looking at maybe 80 today. Pretty nice for late September.
Here’s a pic from yesterday’s golf. This is Indian Canyon one of the prettiest courses in the area. In the background is the city of Spokane and the tallest mountain in the distance is Mt. Spokane. There is a nice state park up there and a great family ski area. Not resortie like some others but a nice set up anyway.
Planning on watching the WSU Cougars lose to Utah and then later my son and DIL are coming over to meet the new pup. Yeah, I’m still not over last week’s swoon to USC.

Folgers and cookies.
Nice day in store although a little cool.
This afternoon I will make my world famous Chili. (Famous to me anyway).
I make a large batch and we will freeze most of it for later. It's still very good
when we thaw it out. YES, BEANS! I also like peppers, some of them hot.
It's gooooodddd!!!

It was 61° again this morning about 6:30 a.m. It's now 84° and sunny. We've had low humidity the last couple of days so that's really nice. May go to a gun show tomorrow with the general just to get out of the housel. We'll see. Just cereal and coffee this morning.
Jake
Nice 63° walking the dogs around 7:00 a.m. It's only 67° not about 9. Just cereal and toast this morning for breakfast. My allergies really have me feeling out of sorts today.
Jake
our daughter and her 5 year old son joined us this morning for a breakfast of bacon, eggs, and apple coffee cake .... of course, Folgers also played a part for me .... beautiful day on tap .... have started calling in an effort to find a mobile RV repair tech to come and fix our camper's electrical problem
43 looking at the upper 70’s later. Tomorrow we have a cold front coming in off the Pacific which may bring some more rain. That would be most welcome as last weekends rain is all dried up. When mowing the unwatered places around my home last Tuesday the moisture dissipated fast and by the time I was done it was very dusty.
I’ll be watching some football today and later we are going over to Coeur d’alene Idaho for a birthday dinner with a couple of our neighbors. There’s a restaurant on Lake Coeur d’alene that is called The Cedars Floating Restaurant because it does float on the water. Haven’t been there in years but we have always had a great meal there in the past.

Church and then to our favorite brunch place.
I had a bloody mary. Now I have never done this before and probably will never again, but
it was good. Just a little too much alcohol for me in the morning.
Country fried steak, eggs over easy, hash browns and toast. Sausage gravy of course.
Now I probably need a nap.
Well, I guess I can if I want.

Cool restaurant. Went to the range today but wind was blowing like a jet engine so didn’t bother to shoot. Came home and watched Rodeo Salinas on the cowboy channel.

Another beautiful day and I intend to make good use of it.
Got some wood on the house to replace and need to work on the motorhome.

67° this morning on the dog walk. Cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast. I've got my Pfizer booster scheduled for this morning at the local CVS. Life is good so far today!

59 now then climbing all the way up to 66. Rain is coming in today and tomorrow (thank you) with nice fall weather for the rest of the week. We just had a very nice weekend in the upper 70’s to the low 80’s. I bet the fall festivals in the local farmers markets and orchards were very busy. Good for them.
Probably do some light puttering this morning and then this afternoon my wife and I have eye doc appointments.
