Primers.....

Post by fortyshooter » Wed Sep 22, 2021 10:20 pm

Getting down to my last 300 Large Magnum pistol primers and found that Midway USA had some CCI Standard LP primers.
My LGS said today they had not seen any primers yet and most likely won't the rest of year. So ordered 1 pack of 1000 which is the limit per order from
Midway. Yeah expensive but got to have some around.

Yeah, I got the notification, unfortunately I will be on the road by the time they are delivered and no one to receive.

Well we will see once they are in hand. UPS shipping and there has been a delay. Hope they don't get lost!

I hope they don't also. Two months ago I got a notification on primers, bought a brick, and three weeks later received a message from UPS that they were lost. Midway refunded the money, but I wanted the primers, they were out.

What I wanna know is how are these guys on GB getting the primers and the sporting goods outlets are not. Here is a box of Federal Primers Large Pistol that looks to be in new packaging to me from what I have seen. Not sure what you guys are buying them for from Midway for but this guys price is one of the better ones on GB

The latest for the CCI Large Pistol Primers were $79.00 from Midway, which seems to be the going price from the major retailers. Midway does not have primers on a regular basis, but seems every couple of months they will get a small shipment of one type of primer.

I really don't car for gun broker, it is almost as if they sponsor the black market of inflated prices.

$ 76.99 plus 12 for shipping and another 12 bucks for Hazmat....no it isn't cheap and don't think you will see those 40 bucks per 1000 days for a good while if ever. Got a notice from UPS about a delay on shipment so we will see what happens.

Love to know who the vendor is and how they are getting primers. That is more than I paid with shipping.

Not sure I haven’t bought for quite awhile. Will check.

Looks like I paid $57 for 1000 Federal large pistol primers when last bought.
