Fair 66°F 19°C
Humidity 73%
Wind Speed N 6 mph
Barometer 29.73 in
Dewpoint 57°F (14°C)

Folgers and some little chocolate eclairs that are left over from the party yesterday.
Nice day coming up but just a little windy. Highs in the 70s.
Labor day party is over so the pressure to get ready is over as well. Today I'm going to
chill a bit but will either cut brush or paint.

Got down into the 70's early this morning so maybe it will start cooling off. Right now 78° and sunny. Just had cereal, toast and coffee this morning. Getting ready to go make a bank deposit then I'll get some work done today.

46 heading to 86 which is way too warm for September. Looks to be a little bit smoky but not excessively so. Another hot day tomorrow then a nice cool down.
A neighbor and I are putting a multiple box mailbox stand down the road a bit. Today we will set a couple of 4x4’’s in concrete and tomorrow attach some crossbars. Just a simple set up to organize and relocate a mismatch of individual boxes which are located right at the end of another neighbors driveway.
Otherwise, just normal putzing around the house.

76 on its way to 88 later today .... no rain, looks like the uncharacteristically dry weather we experienced throughout our summer spent in South Dakota has followed us home to NC .... still on a rather bland breakfast regime of eggs, bacon and Folgers .... the good news is, it appears my weeks of intestinal issues are headed back in the right direction

Good morning friends.
60, clear, windy. Highs today in the low 70s.
Folgers and a piece of chocolate cake with butter cream frosting.
Work around the homestead today. Maybe paint a bit.
Nuts are falling off the trees now. Hickory nuts and Black Walnuts to be gathered.
Gun club this afternoon and then brews and wings with friends tonight.
Life is good.

A balmy 55 with overcast skies this morning. I had forgotten what clouds look like. Same ole same ole 86 for a high. One more day of this and then it’s supposed to cool down to the 70’s. That will be nice.
Other than finishing up the mailbox stand not much on tap for the day. Might take a look at the rain gutters and see if they need hosing out while it’s still warm out there.

It got down to 70°early this morning. We haven't seen that in a long time. Fixed eggs, bacon, toast and coffee for breakfast. Fairly busy day today at the workbench.

It’s been in the high 90’s and low 100’s for the last few days. Sure don’t feel like doing much.

90 here today. I got up and went shooting at the BP range with a couple of guys I always go with. Took the full stock Hawken in 54 caliber and shot some steel with it. Had a good time until it got hot.

66 and clear skies. No wind today.
Folgers and pastries.
My nut collecting is in high gear with lots of walnuts and hickory nuts.
Should get some painting done today.
Should, I'm feeling lazy lately.

52 heading to the mid 80’s, the last day of these warm temps. From here on out we’re looking at overnight lows in the 40’s and highs in the 70’s. Just about perfect. And….. stop the presses, we may repeat may get some rain tomorrow. Sure hope so.
Saturday we’re driving to about an hour south of Salt Lake City to pick up our new Golden Retriever pup. I’ll post pics next week. We are very excited to have a dog again but I’m not looking too forward to 24 hours of driving in two days. The things we do for our four legged kids.
Today the chimney sweep comes for the annual cleaning of my stove pipe otherwise not much on the schedule.

Now you're talking my language.
Hey whats the name of the RV park you go to in Texas when you have been down there?
We have stayed at several but the one we frequent the most is "Galveston Bay RV Resort" in Dickenson, Tx.
We have also stayed at a park in Keema, Austin, and of course Aransas Pass. We like Texas.

Ya I was wondering about the one in Aransas Pass. Ive stayed in the Galveston and the one right next to it. Check out Southern Oaks RV park in Aransas Pass its very nice. Marquee on the bay is the other one right next to Galveston Bay.

Nice morning again this morning as the temperature was in the low 70's again. Some areas north of us reported lows in the high 60's. Rain on the way Monday and Tuesday they say. Fixed flapjacks, bacon, and coffee this morning.
