The world is packed full of people doing stuff..... lots and lots of different stuff...
From quietly pondering stuff, or busy job stuff, clear on to roaring lunatic stuff....
.... so much stuff..... hummmm.... it is a very short and small word to use to describe such a huge range of..."stuff" .....😉🤪 could be I just need to expand my vocabulary.... naw.... I just need my first cup of coffee..... see how often the solution will be just sitting there staring you in the face...... so forget the complexities of "stuff" and just have some coffee....wah ha ha.......

47 heading to the 70’s somewhere today with sunny skies. While we were away a nice rain fell for a while giving this parched area a little bit of relief.

First morning at the lake we had a low of 39 but the rest of the mornings were in the low 40’s. Had a couple of nice rains up there and the whole area was much greener than here at home. Not much higher in elevation than home but it’s pretty close to the Canadian border and the area receives the southern part of the rains that RanchRoper is enjoying.

Packed up a wet camp so today I have to unload the truck and spread out everything so it will dry. Sure don’t miss tent camping in the rain. Then mow the lawn.

Beautiful morning. Slept very well with doors and windows open in the bedroom.
Folgers and some Pecan Pie Carol made yesterday.
I've got some minor work to get done on the deck today. Carol's been reminding me for
months about it. Maybe I'll get it done today.

49 heading to the upper 70’s and a bit smoky. We’re heading to a nice week transitioning to fall with lows in the 40’s and high’s in the 70’s. We could get another hot spell in September but for now I’m really liking these temps.

Seeing the oral hygienist this morning then we will be doing some running around. Started a big cleaning, sorting and trashing project in my shop yesterday. Why I keep some “stuff” I don’t know. Time to winterizing the trailer, normally we would make a trip or two in the fall but we’re getting a new puppy in a couple of weeks. We figure it will be enough of a transition for him to leave his nest and want him to get settled in our place. Next spring we’ll introduce him to camping and boating. Hope to get the boat out a time or two and then it will hit the storage too. So, getting the shop building ready for winter storage.

A really nice day is forecast. Started work on the deck for the wife and found rotten boards,
which will make it a lot bigger project than we thought.
I did get our Eagle painted. (my avatar). Today I will seal it with spray Urethane.

50 heading to 69 with clear skies. The remainder of the week looks to be about the same with each day getting a degree or two warmer. I love September, the best month of the year!

Leaving here shortly to help my neighbor pick up his ATV’s from the shop where he had some routine maintenance done. He had back surgery a few months ago and struggles with tasks like hooking up his trailer and loading/strapping the machines. He’s buying breakfast so I’m a very willing helper.
