On my second shot of Dewar's. Had to take the sis-in-law's dog to the vet this afternoon for the final time. Wife and I took the wheelchair van so she could be with him in his final moments. Always hard no matter the circumstance. Didn't do any work today as there was none. Going to tackle the lawn in a few minutes when it gets a bit cooler before dark.

I remember the days when the local SCRC had rides to the Spoetzl Brewery in Shiner. It's a nice little town. They'd give us tokens for free beer but you could only redeem two tokens for 8oz cups. They'd give us a tour of the brewery which was quite interesting. Here's a pic from 2011 I think. Sipping on my Dewar's and about to retire. Salute!

Had a zoom meeting with the Legion Post. Enjoyed a Shiner's and then a martini during said meeting.
Zoom is great. Sit in my underwear and drink. Only see the waist up.

Agree about the Zoom thing Coop, we had one back in the Spring with 8 or 9 friends/members of another gun forum.
Everybody sitting in their own home sippin adult beverages of choice, and shootin the breeze.
We had 5 or 6 states and 2 foreign countries in attendance.

I'm on my 8th I think, cold one for the day, and most likely have another before bedtime. Salute!

PS. Had a Large time at the river today....and no worries the wife drove home, as she doesn't indulge in adult beverages.
