August 22nd, 1820 Frontier Shooting
Overcast day, 60F and a little windy but I want to do some 100 yd black powder shooting.
60 grains Goex 2fg
.015 patch
.490 lead ball
Pedersoli Frontier .050 cal rifle
Warmed up at 50 yds off hand, open primitive sights, not bad considering a gusty southwest wind...
100 yds off hand. Nothing in the way of groups but happy to get on a 12" target fighting that wind.
All things considered, I had a great time at the range!
Shoot safe, RR

RR, I think you've found a home in this traditional BP world. You and that rifle make a great team.

Nope I don’t hunt with it. Wife would divorce me and she does most of the cooking.
