Folgers and Orio's.
57 and clear skies. There's a large storm over west central Minnesota but it's stationary.
We need rain.

81°with 83% humidity. Supposed to get rain later today. They said that yesterday as well and nothing happened. I've tried to train the dogs to let me sleep in on Sunday's but they don't seem to get it and get me up around 6 a.m. anyway. Cereal and strawberries for breakfast.

Rinse and repeat!

60 heading to the upper 90’s with smoke. A broken record here, constantly skipping back to the previous groove.

By the time I finished up with the yard yesterday it was too hot to work on the gravel so that’s on tap for the morning. Another hot smoky afternoon so I’ll take it easy after the gravel is done.

It’s supposed to cool off beginning Tuesday, Please!

66 heading to 92 and, yep you guessed it, smoke. Cooler day tomorrow with possible rain and maybe some thundershowers. Hope for the first and not the second.

Today I’m going to go through all my old fishing tackle as we are planning some casual fishing next week when we are at the lake. Haven’t fished in years and August is not the most opportune time to fish around here. So we’ll call it practice.

Another good thunderstorm rolled through yesterday afternoon. We didn't loose power but the lights flickered a couple of times. Today is supposed to be a carbon copy of yesterday with a good chance of afternoon showers. Currently 83° and clear. Cereal, blueberries, strawberries, and coffee for breakfast.

66 with the high forecast to remain in the 70’s. Break out the champagne! :D

But….thunderstorms are forecast for this afternoon. While the rain will be nice (if it happens) the wind and lightning associated with the storm will be very bad for the local fires. Looks like most of the rain and storms will remain to the north and east so RanchRoper will be enjoying the rain. No smoke this morning thankfully.

We are heading up to a lake in NE Washington State called Sullivan Lake next week so today I will begin doing some light preps for the trip.

83° and clear right now. Rained yesterday afternoon and is supposed to repeat today. I have to go get my monthly eye injections this morning. My 686 is supposed to be delivered to my FFL and hopefully I can pick it up in the next day or two. Cereal, strawberries, banana, and coffee.

A very pleasant 57 this morning with some overcast that’s not smoke! Looking at a high of 73 so it’s going to be a nice day. Didn’t get any rain here at my place but the general area did receive some here and there. We’ll take whatever we can get!

Busy day on tap, first up after breakfast is mowing the lawn. Then later I’m meeting a guy at the LGS to sell him a rifle. After that I’m heading out to the range for some 600 yard practice for the upcoming F Class shoot. I haven’t shot any matches or practices since 2019 due first to Covid and then this year my foolish scheduling of vacations. I expect to be rusty and will have to confirm my zero at 200 first. Regardless, I’m looking forward to just getting some trigger time in again.
