Re: Not impressed
Thanks guys!
I can understand why some of you like to shoot in cooler weather.

Re: Not impressed
I know those issues well! Looks good to me unless you were aiming for the target in the center of paper!! Could be the ammo too.
Re: Not impressed
Any one of those shots would have taken out a 3 inch clay target on a bank where I shoot. Looks good to me.

These are what I was shooting. Not real fond of them, from past experience. I have some CCI Mini Mags that I'll try next.fortyshooter wrote: ↑Sat Aug 14, 2021 10:38 amI know those issues well! Looks good to me unless you were aiming for the target in the center of paper!! Could be the ammo too.

Re: Not impressed
That's very good offhand at 30 yards even under better conditions, Mark. Offhand is a whole different game than shooting from a rest and it takes regular practice to stay at your best.

Re: Not impressed
I must say, I really took my time on each shot, despite the conditions.North Country Gal wrote: ↑Sat Aug 14, 2021 11:29 amThat's very good offhand at 30 yards even under better conditions, Mark. I expected they would all look like that one flyer at the top. Must have been when a bee almost landed on my face!
Actually, I might have done better if I did NOT take as much time. Seems like the longer I hold on the target, the more I start shaking. Have to then lower the rifle, rest and then try again.

Re: Not impressed
Those Remington Golden bullets arent so golden when it comes to consistency. I have a few more boxes of the 525 size and I get quite a few that jam the model 60 when shooting them. Not enough powder to run the action. Bought them a while back. Im not impressed with them at all.

They seem to leave my guns dirtier than others too.BigAl52 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 14, 2021 12:42 pmThose Remington Golden bullets arent so golden when it comes to consistency. Re: Not impressed
Maybe same ammo as the Remington Thunderbolts but just another name. Some go bang and some a pop. I just shoot those in my 22 revolver.
