Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
It's almost 10:00 a.m. and already 96° out there. I'd say it's a tad bit hot today. Anyway, coffee, eggs, bacon, and toast for breakfast.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
A little light rain just now. I don't remember if I mentioned it before, but my really good friend up the
road took his second daughter on a motorcycle trip for her graduation present from high school.
Just inside the border of Wyoming and just minutes from their destination at a friends house they hit
a deer. The Harley went down and they slid along on the asphalt. No broken bones but they were in the
hospital for a couple of days. The Harley was totaled.
I finally got over to see him yesterday afternoon and he looks really beat up. Both arms are open sores from
road rash, he has sixteen stiches in his head, and he's so sore they had to get him a stand up chair because
he can't stand on his own. His daughter wasn't hurt as bad as she was on top of him sliding down the road.
Just a couple of stiches on her elbow.
When I got there he was out in the shop trying to work. He says it hurts too much to just sit and he needs
to keep moving.
He wants to get another Harley.

Wow! Sorry to hear about your friend. I was on a riding trip with Southern Cruisers (no longer ride with them) and one of the riders hit a dog that came from the yard trying to chase them. Same thing, tore the bike all to hell and they had to be taken to the hospital. Luckily there wasn't any life threatening injuries.

Right now it's 86° at 7:30 a.m. along with 87% humidity. Only about a 30% chance of rain today. Cereal, blueberries, and coffee this morning.

72 and overcast. No rain in sight however. We still need more rain.
Folgers and cookies.
Plan on mowing today as tomorrow we are going to the Dakota County Fair. It's senior day.
Friday Carol has an appointment at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. No, nothing serious.
Well, it is to her. I will go with her and we'll eat BBQ at Famous Dave's for lunch.

59 with clear but slightly smoky skies putting a pink tinge into the sunrise. Effective at noon today we are under an excessive heat warning until Saturday PM. 96 today and 99+ for the next three days. Next week we will see a cool down with highs around 80. That will be nice.
I have a truck load of 1 1/4” rock waiting for me in a pile out back. After placing a weed barrier I’ll be slinging it around the shed. Fortunately most of it will be moved by tractor with loader but there will be enough hand work involved to remind me that moving rock is no fun.
Planning on heading out there shortly to beat the heat.

Up with the East coasters for some God awful reason. At least I'm enjoying the last of the cool morning window weather. It's not going below the mid 70's for the next few days.

Going to the 90+ mark today. Probably going to have a thunderstorm too.
Sanding and staining the deck if the rain holds off. Humid too!
Working around the old house getting it ready for sale.
Coffee in the Smith and Wesson mug.
Enjoy your day.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Smoke is back. Yuk. Overnight low was 64 due to the smoke layer that came in overnight keeping the heat in. Heading to the upper 90’s today thru Saturday.
Planning on doing some running around today and will be keeping out of the heat.
