Unless something unforeseen arises, I plan on going to the Eagles games with the Redskins and the one with the Falcons. They are not predicted to do too well this year, we shall see how they do against the Browns today.

I can certainly appreciate where you are coming from, but I love football too much to not watch because of a few jokers.

RAIIIIIDERS WIN !!!

In a thriller 35-34. They scored with 40 seconds to go went for Two on the road and got it. The saints just missed wide a 61 yard field goal with time running out.

Great start to the season winning on the road in New Orleans. Not a easy place to play.

I like my pro football too, but one guy started it and now today numerous players did it (kneeled) on different teams. As far as I'm concerned they're all nuts.

The Seahawks ended up joining arms and all stood side by side. Great game too as the Seahawks won.

I appreciate the show of solidarity by the Seahawks.

Great opening weekend for the NFL.

Only thing that could make it better is a week 1 win for the Steelers tonight!

I usually watch the Browns till they screw it all up !!
But I'm with SH on this one. After seeing players kneeling during our National Anthem yesterday, I'm done.
There won't be an NFL game on my TV, period !!
Players making 20 mil a year should not be allowed to express political views on a nationally televised game.
Let them spend their $$$ on a TV ad for this crap if they must. The NFL makes me sick. DISGUSTING !!

Only on opening weekend. They have a late west coast game. They have been doing that for a few years now.

What's next? Are you going to try to tell me the Rams are back in L.A.?

As a Steeler fan, that was certainly an entertaining game last night! Once Bell and Wheaton are back they should have quite the offense. Still a little worried about their secondary. The Redskins weren't much of a test!

Great week 1 of the football season. Looking forward to many more.

I am not into football and I barely understand the GAME rules but some of the people 'protesting' on some teams tick me off.

I will leave my other remarks OFF the forum.

So IF I was into football... I would not watch THEIR team games.

My husband said the same thing. Take your fake/real 'protest' somewhere else. Ugh.

Plus it is a shame that some of these spoiled, overpaid, etc. protestors never followed up on the real news and the results of some investigations with actual witnesses from ALL sides.

My husband listens to his old University of Montana football games on the RADIO.

The only football game that I pay attention to is the famous Navy/Army game and that is because I want to listen to the music, see the scenery, and for old times sake. I really don't pay attention to the sport itself when they kick the ball, run into each other and run all over the field. My late husband ENJOYED some football games and I always made his dinner ahead of time, put on a pot of coffee and had some cookies for him and his friends when they watched it in our den back east.

I understand and LIKE baseball but I don't follow it religiously.
