2021 Trip To South Dakota

thankfully last night's rain has washed away some of the smoke

Rained last night and it was cloudy this morning, I thought it was just cloudy but it was smoke!

we ended up with a little over a half inch .... according to the weather radar, the rain has moved on and is now just over the line and is in Minnesota

yesterday the high was 70 with rain .... today the rain is gone, the high temp is supposed to get up to 82 and the smoke from the wildfires out west has returned .... along with the smoke comes a "Poor" air quality rating .... not much on tap for today, we may ride down to Brookings to visit the Verizon store

very happy to be able to once more say, its a beautiful morning in the neighborhood .. .. 73 on its way to 79 with its air quality rated as excellent .... not much on tap .... do hope to get the Brookings Gun Club and fire 4 or so rounds of trap

well, my knee clearly isn't as well recovered as I thought .... it was all I could do to fire two rounds of trap (50 shells) and I sure didn't do very well with them .... we are back in the camper, right leg propped up and an ice bag on my knee .... can only hope no damage has been done
