I think I celebrated too soon. With all the darkness, thunder, and lightening not much rain.
It got so dark the night lights came on and still is, but not much rain. Still hoping though.

60 heading to 88. Yesterday we had a cloud cover come in and it kept the temps in the low 80’s. Yahoo! Reading some of your humidity reports I’m feeling bad for you. We’re running in the teens with overnight humidity in the 30’s - low 40’s.

Just some light odds and ends around the place today with golf on tap for tomorrow.

86° right now and high is supposed to be around 97°. It's clear. Nice to not have rain for a few days. Probably will have a drought now.....
Cereal, strawberries, and coffee for breakfast. Taking the sis-in-law to the Dr's this morning as the wife is working.

74, clear, smoky haze, light winds.
We didn't get the much needed rain. Just a lot of dark clouds, thunder and lightening.

Cloudy today: it’s currently 63; the high is 82 which is a lot cooler than the last few days. Last day of camping at cabin with grandkids. Everybody have a great day!

60 with the heat coming back, maybe 99 later with triple digits coming this weekend. Then Sunday PM there might be a storm with lightning and maybe some substantial rain for parts of the area. A blessing and a curse at the same time.

Playing golf today then home to mow the lawn and pack for our trip to see the grandkids this weekend. Leaving early Friday and home again Monday afternoon. Just a quick in and out as it’s southern California and not exactly our “happy place”. :(

It's already 89° this morning at 8:00 a.m. local time. Predicted high of 101°. I think I'll stay inside in the AC today. Cereal, banana, and coffee for breakfast.

Up way early today as I have a 6:00 am flight. It’s 65 currently but I bet it will drop a few degrees yet before sunrise. Highs today and tomorrow are 102 and 104. Glad I’m heading to Southern California where it’s not nearly as warm. Hmmmm leaving the north heading to the south to cool off. :?:

Woke up to a wet sidewalk and puddles, a welcomed sight. Supposed to be sunny today: currently it’s 62; the expected high is 79. Sitting at the dinner table, folding a mountain of laundry from the trip to cabin (7 grandkids worth). Everybody have a great day!

Happiness Is ---- awakening to the sound of rain on our roof .. :D .. so far we've gotten about .4" with more on the way .... it has fallen at a slow pace which will most certainly help the local farmers .... the rain has also reduced the density of the smoke in the air ....

55º and supposed to hit 75º. Nice change from the hot and sticky. Shut off the air and opened windows for some good sleeping. Someone hacked my debit card and got three money orders for Apple Pay for $300 total. Bank caught it and shut off card quickly thank you. Got new card and set up new passwords. Supposed to be able to get the debits canceled but we shall see. Hate thieves, stay safe.

Coffee and cookies. I know, I know, but I like them.
60s this morning with smoke. Lots of smoke. Supposed to hit 84 today but yesterday the smoke
in the air held the temps down in the 70s. Humid too.
Trying to get the Journey ready for our Blue Grass weekend. Actually four days this year.
Of course the frig won't light on gas. Nothing new. Ordered a new circuit board this morning.
Should be here Monday. One might not like Amazon, but boy is it ever handy. :D

Today: supposedly sunny but smoke makes it hazy. It’s currently 64; the high will be 84. I got to grandkids that want to go to range again today, I hope air quality improves so we can go! Everybody have a great day!

82° with 93% humidity. Had a brief thunderstorm roll through about 5 yesterday afternoon. Not much rain but lots of nearby lightening and thunder. Eggs, bacon, toast and coffee for breakfast this morning. Getting ready to straighten up and get to work.

Sitting in the LA area and I’m guessing it’s in the upper 60’s. Supposed to be around 90 down here and with the increase in humidity from home I’m finding it to be uncomfortable. Last night around 9:00 the temp here was 68 and the temp back home was 84 so I guess it’s not too uncomfortable here. Today’s forecast for home is 104. I don’t like being in the big city but I don’t like 104 either.
