I agree. Wood was the most main source of heat. I couldn’t just leave for a week in the winter.

First house is nice and close to Kalispell, second house is really nice but closer to the Canadian border than Kalispell.

I agree. Wood was the most main source of heat. I couldn’t just leave for a week in the winter.

It does look like they use a lot of firewood but the description says "Forced Air, Stove, Wall Furnace" and you can see a furnace and some duct work in photo #31. I love the high ceilings and all the wood, nice basement too. I also love the terrain but with all the recent and more frequent wildfires it would be kind of scary living so close to all the trees.

I’ve rejected this one several times but keep coming back to it. It has trails to the east of it. It’s the last house on the road with the turn around. Link at the end.

It does look like they use a lot of firewood but the description says "Forced Air, Stove, Wall Furnace" and you can see a furnace and some duct work in photo #31. Some are zoned so you have to maintain a fire truck turn around all the way around the house. And they have to be able to exit with out backing up. Check out the last few aerial pictures.
