Thanks! I just ordered a brick. Although with the shipping, tax, and hazard charge it was still $111.08. I'll live with it though.

JUST GOT NOTIFIED MIDWAY USA HAS MAGNUM SMALL PISTOL PRIMERS IN STOCK. Limited to one brick, just ordered one. $75.00 plus hazmat and shipping which seems to be the norm now on all sites.

The most I've ever paid for 1k was $43.99 that's tax and all, and was last Summer.
And luckily still have 2k+ SPP in house.

I got lucky and picked up 2 bricks of CCI 550 small pistol magnum and one brick of large pistol at Midway before everything ran dry, plus one brick of small pistol from Brownels. I feel very fortunate to have finally hit some primers after 18 months of waiting, but boy they go quick.

that will continue to be the case so long as shelves in most stores remain empty .... once production has exceeded demand for long enough for folks to have any concerns about being able to drop in and purchase them as desired, thing will return to what used to be normal

Agreed, JEB, I didn't see all the COVID lock down nonsense throwing a wrench in the works. I am good now for powder, bullets and primers to last a while.
My concern is the current sabre rattling about a new wave of lock downs that will send things back to where we were 18 months ago. Time will tell.
