That 12 acre horse ranch was nice but I don’t want to be married to a piece of land.

.......The house on Spokane Road sure is nice, but ouch on the Taxes. In my opinion $5,800 is pretty high.

No. On the one it has a bedroom on the ground floor but it’s not the master.

Re: Home Search Continues
Non starter for me. For the prices they are asking for these used houses, I would build the house exactly the way I wanted it.
We went to a draftsperson with OUR floor plan design and she tweeted it according to code and charged us $.85 a square foot and then had an engineer approve and stamp it for $350.00.

Ouch, again. You must have a beautiful palace there or if not, I agree, you need to move.Sir Henry wrote: ↑Fri Jul 23, 2021 1:09 pmMy taxes here are twice that.Cowboy Gun Fan wrote: ↑Thu Jul 22, 2021 11:33 pm

Out here in the country, if I told you what my taxes are you would hate me, lol.

Building a house right now can be a lengthy ordeal as supplies to do so are very limited.

Ditto for my area too plus the contractors and their subs are booked out for many many months just to get started.
Folks next to us have been in the building process for over a year now and so far they have a shop, well, septic system and a foundation. Probably another six months for them to be ready to move in. Crazy!

Re: Home Search Continues
This one is nice yet not flashy. It has room for a large RV and no CCR’s yet the neighborhood is not trashy.

I like the garages, but 6 bedrooms and multi levels are a nonstarter for me.

When I see outbuilding like that, I think "indoor air gun range". Yee, haw!

Think of it as a three bedroom one story rambler with a finished basement.

That’s what I was thinking. Shooting outside might be limited but I can build a 5, 10, and 15 yard range in that outbuilding for the long cold Montana winters.North Country Gal wrote: ↑Sun Jul 25, 2021 10:36 amWhen I see outbuilding like that, I think "indoor air gun range". Yee, haw!

Re: Home Search Continues
The best one yet, in my opinion. Only thing lacking would be that I would be liking more land. Nice house, love the garage and shop. Much better taxes too.Sir Henry wrote: ↑Sun Jul 25, 2021 1:46 amThis one is nice yet not flashy. It has room for a large RV and no CCR’s yet the neighborhood is not trashy.

Re: Home Search Continues
I like using a different site and found this house on it. It has dropped $68,000 in price in less than one month from the listing history. Seems like they are anxious to sell. Although I'm not of fan of Natural Gas that it has, if you would like to buy it I would hurry up and bid $525,000. They very well could take it.
