Well I've had a couple cold ones and chicken just came off the grill, waiting on a side item or two. then we chow.
Thinking I might mix up one of those Iced teas after.

Wife is making lasagna tonight. Sipping on my second bourbon waiting for it to finish. It's smelling good!

Just more whisky BRM. I feel your pain. As a matter of fact Im have a couple gin and tonics tonight thinkin about BRM braving that heat for those grandchildren baseball games. Not to mention the trips to Mickey D's afterwards. Salute up north its cocktail time
Chili dogs for supper and pasta salad, enjoyed a cold beer with it and a Danish shot for a night cap, to this great forum, skol!

Dinner at the step son's. His woman made grilled chicken, steak kabobs, biscuits, and grilled vegetables. That woman can cook! I had a beer with the step son and now a Pimm's with ginger ale as it is too hot to have a bourbon........yet. Cheers!

Had a bunch of grandkids over, fed’em a spaghetti supper, showered them and now they’re watching a movie on Disney+. Just got in my recliner and put my feet up, poured myself an Irish on the rocks, life is good. To all the good people of this forum, Slàinte!

Bank sign said 99 this afternoon so all the grandkids spent the day at the swimming hole, ate tacos for supper and back to swimming. Made’em root beer floats for bedtime snack. I just got in my easy chair with an Irish, everybody stay safe and stay cool, Slàinte!
P.S. the youngest granddaughter absolutely wouldn’t have a root beer float because her mother told her she can’t drink beer (she’s 4)

Ice Tea and rest last night as I spent the day painting. Salute. Hey BRM I made a pass through the living room and the news was on. They were doing a show on the house market. One of the hot spots was Rapid City North Dakota. I didnt know you gave the city to the North any truth to that.

Does that mean Rushmore is in North Dakota, maybe Theodore Roosevelt National Park is in Wyoming

Kurt and I tried some Surly beer.
Surly didn't like that. Way too hoppy.
Hoppier than Hopalong Cassidy.
Back to good old Grain Belt Premium. Anyone remember where that was brewed?
Milwaukee? Now it's brewed along with many others in New Ulm, Mn.
August Shell's brewery has purchased the recipe of many old beers and are bottling them again.

The farm kids up the road had the first sweet corn of the year for sale at their roadside stand, so
we got twelve ears for five dollars. Sweet!
Meat balls over noodles, sweet corn, beer, and then martinis.
