Currently 63 and mostly cloudy this morning. The high is supposed to be 79. Not much going on today, just working on my gun cart. Area thunder storms produced baseball & tennis all sized hail, we managed to escape it. Everybody have a great day!

Tropical storm Elsa starting to move thru our area with heavy rain thru the afternoon and early evening.

That ought to fill up that creek of yours. East coast and Texas are floating away and here in the west we’re turning to dust and blowing away.

A very nice 50 this morning heading back to the mid-90’s today and the upper 90’s tomorrow. Enough already! There are several wildfires burning in the region but so far the winds have moved the smoke away from my area. Sorry for those in the path but it’s nice to be smoke free so far.

Heading into Spokane today for some running around including Wallys for some Folgers Black Silk coffee and some Bunn filters. Wally’s seems to be the only place that has the filters and the larger sized can of Black Silk.

Ya no firearms inside the Park....bunch of party poopers. Canadians just don't know how to have fun. Although I did have a good 1/4 lb Nathan's hot dog at Weiners of Waterton....

Another good day ahead in the brush, ( or, at least that's what I will believe until I'm proved wrong) no spot spraying today cause they are calling for serious rain likely tonight,( no sense spending the time and money putting it on if it could get washed off and not do the job)
I will put some more mulch on the garden and need to run to town anyway for various supplies... There is never a shortage of things to do if you just dare to look around. That's easily managed, ... I just do stuff until j get wore out, and then I stop looking around..... have a good day out there.

80's today....grass cutting time....out for breakfast with the Mrs and then fire up the JD tractor. Next week we have tickets for the rodeo at Calgary Stampede on Friday. Tea in Henry mug.

we awoke to the first hard rain we've seen since our arrival on June 15th .... hopefully, the rain will be very helpful to the huge farming community in this part of the state .... regular breakfast of fried eggs, our favorite sausage brought from home and Folgers flowing through a Henry mug .... my hope for the day is to sit and watch it rain

Gloomy and the 60s this morning. No rain, but we could use some.
Feeling under the weather today. Got a chill yesterday and am probably fighting off a cold.
I hate summer colds!
Couldn't sleep so I got up early and put together a new reel for the pool solar blanket.
Now to cut the new solar blanket to fit.
Well, maybe later. Just chillin out right now.

Woke up to a wonderful 52 but the forecast high today is 97. Yuk, yuk and more yuk. Sure tired of this unending heat wave.

Today is toilet repair day. Master bath unit is really struggling with keeping a seal on the flush mechanism. I decided to just replace all the tank guts which will require me to remove the tank. Fingers crossed on that one. Hall bath just need an adjustment to increase the flush rate.

Apologies to the mods, I know there is no potty talk allowed on these pages.

85° currently. However I am happy to report there is NO RAIN.......at least so far. We had either 24 or 25 consecutive days of rain. Everything is drenched, muddy, and jut plain soggy. Cereal, coffee and apple fritter for breakfast. Already repaired one instrument and waiting on a client for finishing touches to her pair of clarinets. I'll do some reloading today after that.

I must be a early riser... no matter, someone has to get to the coffee pot first...and it all evens out .... the chickens have to be on their toes to get to their roost in the evening before I'm looking for my bed...
Coffee is good in my quiet chair... we had a big rain last night... power was out for an hour or more.( I hope it didn't blow any more trees down on one of my fences... I had to cut off five different trees and fix fence earlier this spring from a big blow that came through. ( life is what it is. Sometimes you have to do a lot of hard work just to get back to even,) however, that's never kept me from groaning and grunting about it... all and all a year like this , with lots of rain for the pastures is soooo much better than some of those drought years I've lived through that I have to admit cutting some trees off a fence is a lot less stressful than trying to figure how you are going to get your cows fed. So. Good coffee, plenty of moisture, I'm getting better than I deserve, but like most people, I'm a big enough hog to take "better than I deserve" and look for more....hummm.....

55 this morning with clear skies and no wind. Up early for church.
Feeling a little better today. Must have had some minor ache all over virus yesterday.
Coffee and cookies. Brunch later.
Supposed to be a nice day. Mid 80s.
Planning on taking it easy. Maybe watch NASCAR.
