Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Another quiet day... more yard. Hopefully win a bid on gunbroker....Sunday I have to drive over to my last workstation (the lady that i worked in the office with for ten years over there passed away from cancer last week.) She was a fine person. Going to the visitation on Sunday afternoon and then the funeral on Monday. It will be a sad reflective couple of days.

65 and sunny. Should get to the mid 80s today.
Folgers, pop tart.
Got a lot done yesterday. Found a short in the shop wiring and corrected that.
Watered some new grass, ect.
Got a contractor coming today to replace our railings on our deck with a newer
version that meets todays codes.
Lost another younger cousin Wednesday. He passed from cancer and the funeral
will be next Wednesday. His will be the first formal funeral since the Covid. Others
have just been immediate family.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Woke up to 68 this morning. First morning in the 60’s in several days. High is 94 but for now there is a nice cool breeze coming in the front door. Feels great. Our Excessive Heat Warning has been downgraded to a Heat Advisory so that’s great news. High temps in the seven day forecast are all in the 90’s with one day in the 80’s. “The Heat is Gone”…… or so the song says.
Plan to get back to working on the boat we picked up a month or so ago. Brought it home and put it in the shop and promptly left for Montana. Since we have been cleaning it up but even that got interrupted by the shed painting project. So far I took the wheels off and had the tires replaced and cleaned up the hubs. It has Eze-Lube type bearing greasing hubs on it and the person who had it before didn’t put the rubber dust caps on it. Grease was everywhere. Got some new chrome caps for the hubs to today I’ll remove the tires again and put the chrome covers and the rubber caps on. It has the old style safety chain hooks without keepers on it so I have to cut those off and replace them. No box for the battery so I picked one up so that goes in. Lots more to do but we plan to take it out for it’s maiden voyage next Tuesday. We could go sooner but I want to avoid the 4th of July crazies out on the water.

Nice Boat Hatch had a Glastron myself a few years ago. GXL205. Had the Volvo twin counter shaft with the Chevy 305 270HP engine in it. That looks like the model that came out just after we bought ours. Mine was a 2007. 62 here now headed for the mid 80's. Another bike ride today but a shorter one to end the week. Got a call from AOA yesterday have an HW97 with a 3x9x40 AO on the way.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
86° this morning with 71% humidity. There's a 45% chance of rain today. Odd figure as usually the weatherman would usually say 40% or 50%. First time I've seen a 45% displayed. Anyway, had cereal with blueberries and coffee. Went to the LGS and all the primers they had were large pistol. Couldn't remember how many I had so I picked up the 2 sleeve maximum allowed. I was looking for some small pistol and large rifle.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Woke up to a delightful 62 degrees this morning. I’m liking the direction the overnight temps are heading. Sick and tired of the overnight temps in the upper 70’s. High today is in the low 90’s with low to mid 90’s all next week.
Today I will finish up my boat preps and later mow the lawn. Heading to the local grill with the neighbors later this afternoon for some Saturday Prime Rib!

And me?well...
I'm no more confused or misguided than normal. So, that is to say ...I can still see the path, I'm ,(it appears), still a little bit off of it, pushing through the brush trying to get to it... so,.... hopefully I will manage it!......
hope you all get where you want to be as well..

69, clear, going to be a scorcher today. Mid 90s.
Coffee and a pop tart. Getting tired of them. Probably go back to cookies.
Church, brunch, NASCAR on tap for today.
Ya'll have a happy fourth.

70 already and going to hit 90. Will have to close the house up again and turn on the air conditioning. Was pretty noisy last night but I think the worst is over. Rewired a drill press yesterday and will start making a new base for the butcher block work bench I am rebuilding. Have a safe and happy 4th.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
It’s an awesome refreshing 62 out there but back to the 90’s later. Read this morning that by next weekend we may be back in a heat advisory. Not the extreme heat warning we had earlier this week fortunately.
Today is a few projects around the place and then off to my wife’s cousin’s place in Deer Park for grilled steaks, gin and tonics and whatever the local’s put on for fireworks. The big city display has been canceled due to extreme dry conditions but where we are going tonight is on the golf course. Mostly green grass but there are some brushy areas so if fireworks are set off I hope people are safe and sane……..
