68, clear skies, light winds. Supposed to be scattered T-Storms all day. We could use more rain.
Folgers and a pop tart.
Probably going to trim shrubbery around the house today.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
67 and heading to 107 with 110 forecast for tomorrow. This…..is…..nuts! We do have central A/C which does a great job keeping up with the heat. I have my thermostat set to 76 and yesterday the A/C kicked on before 10:00. We hit the sack early and I can’t open any windows when I go to bed. The last couple of nights I got up early in the morning and opened the bedroom window. When I went to bed last night around 9:00 is was 83 outside and 76 inside. Crazy!
Today I will finish the shed painting project with just the trim left to do. I’ll be heading out there soon and hopefully it will only take a couple of hours to finish up. I’ve been quitting everyday around 11:00 - 11:30 as it’s just too hot.
Had biscuits for dinner last night and there are some left over. So today it’s biscuits with honey for breakfast. Good painting energy food!

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Everything is crazy with the weather. I feel for you Hatchdog and Sir Henry. Right now it's 75° and rain. I had planned on taking the Harley in for inspection today but I'll wait for clear weather. Had cereal, coffee, and strawberries for breakfast. No work today, although there is some here. I may do some reloading.

Gosh, I'm hoping the temps come down for you people out there!!!
Very uncommon. Hopefully, it does not lead to a bad fire season...shut my mouth!!...sorry.
Wishing you ALL well.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Up early today, house wasn’t hot just restless I guess. It is currently 71 degrees and I don’t ever recall seeing the overnight temps in the 70’s. One of the benefits we enjoy here in the Inland Pacific Northwest is it always cools off at night. For those without A/C at least they can cool off their homes at night. (Been there, done that) So if it’s 71 here out in the woods like I am I would expect those living in Spokane particularly in the core area it’s probably 80 overnight. Ugh!
Today is the peak of the heatwave with our temps out here in Deer Park expected to hit 111. Not nearly as bad as central Washington State where a few members live who may see 117. Pretty incredible the temps that member Oldbrass from Yelm is reporting. Never thought I would say that I’m jealous of the weather in South Dakota but those temps brm4450 posted look down right inviting.
Mostly finished with my shed painting project, today I’ll check for touch ups and I plan to put a coat or two of water sealer on the wood (marine plywood) ramp for the overhead door. This hot weather turned a two day project into five half days. Now I can get back to working on my boat and maybe hit the lake next week.

68, cloudy, humid light winds. Supposed to get hot and dry later in the week.
Folgers and you know what.
Not entirely sure what I will do today. The contractors working on the pool leak left a
huge muddy mess as right in the middle of fixing leak in the plumbing it rained very hard.
Now we have a big hole in the concrete and a pile of clay and gravel beside it.
I watched them working head first in a hole that was 2x2 foot and three foot deep,
and thought, "I could do that and save a lot of money". Then I came to my senses.
They're in their thirties. I'm 80.
Forget about it and just pay the money.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
82° with rain coming. Not raining yet but it's supposed to get started soon. Cereal with strawberries and coffee for breakfast.
Need to get the Harley inspected but not going to ride it in rain. This morning would have been perfect but the 3dayblind guy's here putting up the new blinds. I'll ride out if he get's done before the sun gets covered by rain clouds.
