Going to be another hot/humid couple days until some storms bring thru cooler temps next week. I need some rain in my little creek!

Church and brunch are history.
Brunch was Country Fried Steak, eggs over easy, crispy hash browns and toast. :D
Along with that a pot of coffee.
We got a couple tenths of rain so far with more coming by the looks of it. We need it.
Saw a tree chasing a couple of dogs this morning.
Watching Indy Cars now and Nascar later.
The kids seem to have other plans today and again on the Fourth. They wanted to all
come out the week after the fourth and Carol told them no, we were busy.
We celebrate those days on the day of. Not when it's convenient to them.

Clear skies, 55 and breezy. Looks like a nice day.
Folgers and a pop tart.
We got an inch of needed rain yesterday so it's too wet to finish the painting on the deck.
Guess I'll trim trees and brush along the drive. It's kinda like driving through a tunnel right now.
Went to our favorite supper club last night and had the King Crab. My Father's Day treat.
They are having trouble getting the crab from their supplier because of a shortage so they
had raised the price, but Carol said I was worth it. It was more than I could eat so I have some
cold crab legs in the frig.

Can't even think about starting a day without coffee! Gonna be 84, and in a couple hours rain will arrive. Can use the rain, but not drought by any means.

58 heading to 90 and hot, hot, hot. Yeah I know, you guys in the south have no pity for me. Supposed to be a hot week finishing off this weekend in the low triple digits. Sure glad I have a few indoor projects I’ve been putting off waiting for a period of hot weather to justify being in the house on a summer day.

Today I will finish cleaning up my wood shed and start working on my new to me 14 year old boat trailer. I need to clean up the hubs and replace the breakaway cables and then take it in for new tires. The tires on it are your typical trailer tires, nearly new tread but 10 years old and I won’t trust them.

But for now it’s coffee, news and this website.

Right now it's 86° here and overcast. Supposed to get up to 90 today so we're almost to the high. Humidity is at 67% which is a bit lower than yesterday. Coffee, toast and cereal this morning.

59, clear, calm wind. Supposed to get near 80 today. A really nice day in store.
Folgers and pop tart.
Got a little deck painting left to do and trim some more trees and shrubs.
When I first moved here in 1983 I had drapes made for the family room to insulate
the windows from the cold in the Winter. I mentioned the other day that they needed
replacing, so, Carol took it upon herself to make new ones. I am amazed. I thought
she'd just have some made.
You go girl.

81° and sunny after a stormy night. We had thunderstorms roll through starting a bit after midnight and continued until about 6:30 this morning. Coffee, bacon, eggs, and a roll for breakfast. Got some work to do today.

55 heading to 90 with a bright yellow heat producing device beating down. :?

Going to do some running around this morning, first picking up my trailer tires that yesterday I dropped the old wheels/tires off at the local Les Schwabs. Then into Spokane to get paint (ugh) for the new shed that gets delivered today. Figures that we will be painting the shed on the hottest days we have had since 2015…..100 on Sat, 104 on Sun, 105 on Monday and so on…….. :(

Then home to put the tires back on the trailer and continue to work on it. Right now it’s Folgers in the mug and after reading the topic on honey I believe I’ll have some toast and honey for breakfast….yum

We had about a half inch of rain around noon. Last night got down to 58* and only supposed to get in low 80s this afternoon. Been very comfortable today. It is supposed to go back to mid 90s for the rest of week. They say we are in for lower temps next week and rain chances all week. Put on a rack of pork ribs a little while ago. Should be falling off the bone by suppertime.

Morning, 52 here this AM, going to take the daughter and family to the river today.
A buddy of mine has a pontoon and wants to carry the grandsons for a ride. Mid 80's later so shouldn't be a bad day. And being it's middle of the week there shouldn't be a lot of traffic on the water.

56, overcast, calm winds.
Supposed to clear up and hit 90 this afternoon.
Got a leak in the pool plumbing and the leak detectors are coming this morning to find it.
Going to take the RV to the shop for some repair and upgrades today.
Busy day.

Oh yeah, Folgers and a strawberry pop tart. :D
