Yep, I check about everybody daily. No 45/70 tho, thanks, bud.
Just rechecked, none in stock, no backorder available.

Finally got the parts for my RCBS Ammomaster press today. Now I can repair the press and get back to loading small pistol primer caliber cartridges. 9mm is first on the list for tomorrow. FYI RCBS shipped the parts via USPS on 6/2/21 and it took 10 days to get from California to Virginia. I think USPS put my envelope on a fast moving turtle.

Paul, 10 days sounds about the speed. Usually takes a week to TN.
Speed is not in their game plan.
On top of that, I hear postage is going up again. That's all I'm going to say about that.

My RCBS Ammomaster progressive is back in business. Completed the repair and proceeded to load up 500 rounds of my favorite 9mm load.

Those are 124 gr. Acme coated bullets. I've been using these for several years and I find them superior to most others.

Prepped 40 twice fired .30-40 Krag cases: f/l sized, reamed the primer pockest, trimmed, chamfoured, polished, primed. I acquired this model 1899 30-40 Krag carbine a couple of years ago. My gunsmith inspected it for safety and certified it to be in NRA Excellent condition. For it, I reload jacketed 165 gr,180 gr, and 220 gr Hornady Interlock bullets, spitzers for 165gr and RN's for the 180 & 220 gr. The rifle is a good shooter enabling me to get 3" groups at 75 yds. with the 180 gr Hornadys; I am still experimenting with recipes for the 165 & 220 gr loads.

Very cool Springfield ! Great collectors piece, hard to find one in excellent condition. Throw up a picture when you are able, we would love to see this piece of history.
