68° and raining, looks like indoor activities today.
Enjoyed the grandsons yesterday, we had a ball.
We just finished a late breakfast, and will see what we an get into.
You know bacon is good when even the baby loves it.

73 out here right now. Wifes daughter and granddaughter are coming down today. Should be a little cooler today only in the upper 80's. Headed out for a bike ride here in a while.

Back from church and now for our usual Sunday morning brunch.
Eggs, bacon, pancakes with butter and maple syrup.
82 right now heading for 94 they say. Not as hot as yesterday.
I have a twelve O'clock meeting with the Legion Holding Corp. We're trying
to salvage a facility for the legion which is broke. We have land to sell and
today we meet with some of the bidders. This has been going on for a year now
and getting tedious.
Hopefully I'll be home by three and can relax a little.
When we turn into our drive it's almost like twilight. The woods are so dense
that they block the sun. Cooler as well.

Steak and eggs for breakfast. Need some energy for a long work day. Bought a Ryobi battery powered pole saw yesterday to trim some branches around the house. Standing on a ladder with a chainsaw is really a dumb thing to do anymore. Saw does what is supposed to do so now I have to cut up the downed limbs before temps hit 90º again. Have a good Sunday.

Those things will still give the shoulders a workout if you've got a lot to trim. I've been there. Good luck with the trimming. 82° here this morning and headed up to about 88° according to the weather. Scattered showers predicted for this afternoon. The general wants to go to the range today and slog through the mud setting targets. Bacon, eggs, muffin, and coffee for breakfast.

Used the manual pole saw for about 10 minutes then said "screw it". Bought the battery chain saw pole saw and I am sold. It is a little end heavy but it has a shoulder strap to help steady it. Works well for an 18V system. Cuts a 6" limb in less than a minute unlike fighting with the manual job which binds up and is difficult to keep in the cut.

busy morning on tap .... our 5 year old grandson has to have an MRI this morning .... that pretty much has us on edge .... a power washing company is due to douse our campers, homes and our Sportchassis .... thankfully its supposed to be a bit cooler with a high of 85 and thunderstorms in the area this afternoon .... watching "The Fighting Seabees" filmed in 1944, staring John Wayne and Susan Hayward

75 going for a high of 95 again. Humidity is starting to move in now.
Looks like no relief until the weekend.

I plan to level a dirt pile and make a lawn out by the barn for RV parking
this morning. Stay cool around the pool this afternoon.

Sitting in an RV park near Garrison MT and it’s a crisp 35 under sunny skies out here. Elevation is 4400 feet, about 2200 feet higher than home. I have a beautiful picture of the snow capped Rocky Mountains but right now I don’t have enough bandwidth to transfer the pic from my phone to this Ipad so I’ll post it another time.

Enjoying some Folgers now and here shortly we will head out to begin exploring the nearby ghost towns. Gotta get a full day in today as it’s supposed to rain on and off for the rest of our stay here. Thursday we move a couple of hours south and the weather is supposed to get better about then.

Good Luck with the MRI on the grandson Jim hope everything is ok. 54 here overnight and headed to 90 today. Been working on the Stihl blowers. Got one running great with a new carb. The other one is being a pain as it has a new carb but still isnt running like it should. All this stuff is made in china imagine that. These Stihl leaf blowers are older ones.

Hope everything turns out okay with the grandson. He's been through a lot already! 88° here currently with a high predicted of 91°. The good news is we didn't have any rain yesterday. 30% chance today and then goes down to ZERO for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday according the the forecast. I hope we don't get into a drought situation now. Just had cereal, coffee, and muffin for breakfast. I got all my errands done for the day. Got dog food at PetSmart and home air filters at Lowes. Stopped at the Academy that was next door to Lowes and they had a good assortment of rifle ammo but not pistol. The only pistol ammo they had was rimfire and .40 S&W. I asked about primers and, of course, they didn't' have any. Later,

we awoke to a mostly cloudy 74 degree morning with 94% humidity .... supposed to get up to 84 later today but it is also supposed to feel considerably hotter with thunderstorms around this afternoon .... this morning we have to pickup and chauffeur our oldest grandson to an Orthodontics appointment .... then on to Sam's to pick up the rest of our stuff we need to pack for the trip .... with today being Tuesday and our departure for South Dakota set for Friday morning at about this time, we are getting busier and busier .... watching "Above and Beyond" filmed in 1952 staring Robert Taylor as Lt. Col. Paul W. Tibbets Jr., the pilot of the aircraft that dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima in August 1945
