Its my neighbors grill, but he went inside for a minute !

Now that's an easy way to serve up some nice grilled steaks! But I think he'll know it was you. So invite him over!!

Started putting powder & bullets in my last batch of 100, today.
When they're done, I'm done until some brass rests it's head somewhere, which don't look promising at the moment.
I've probably got enough to last till I'm planted anyway.
The Henry 45/70 hasn't seen much action lately.

Ahhh, the loud ka-bang, the kick in the shoulder, a little smoke, the smell of burnt gunpowder and the ping of the gong! What's better than that?
You also then have lots of brass to refill! A reloader's dream!!

started reloading my first ever batch of 44 Specials .... deprimed, resized, reprimed, and flared 100 cases on our mid 60's vintage RCBS Rock Chucker single stage press .... hope to complete the process ASAP

Never did the 44 Specials, did 44 mag tho yrs ago, on a RCBS Jr.
I used for decades. Still got in a drawer. Retired it favor of a Forester Co-Ax press. Love it..
If I had 44, I'd go the Special route too.

completed our first 102 round batch of 44 Special ammo for use in our Bond Roughneck derringer .... 101 rounds shown below .... couldn't stand it, had to touch one off as a test .... happy to say it passed the test in that when I pulled the trigger, it went boom, and didn't cause the slightest discomfort to my arthritic right hand .. .. the loads consisted with a mix of 240 gr Nosler JHP and JSP bullets pushed by 4 gr of Bullseye ignited by CCI Large Pistol Magnum Primers

just put the finishing touch on our 44 Specials .... we now put together 3 different 44 caliber loads .... to ensure easy recognition we color code the primers .... we leave the primers of our 44 Mag, full power hunting loads silver (picture 1) .... Red is the color we paint the primers of our 44 Mag target loads fired from our Ruger Redhawks (picture 2) .... Blue signifies the 44 Special loads fired in our Bond derringer (picture 3)

Lots of fun shooting. But I don't know how you shoot the derringer without a helmet!
I color code the primers to distinguish different loads of the same caliber too.

kind words appreciated .... taking the time to color the primers most certainly makes it easy to ensure feeding the correct round into each 44 .... we have a 38 Special/357 Magnum barrel and a 44 Special barrel for our Roughneck derringer .... light 38 special loads are fun to fire, 357 Magnum loads can be punishing ..... Nosler shows 3.9 gr of Bullseye as the minimum load of their 240 gr'ers .... I decided to go with 4.0 gr .... as noted, I've only fired one so far but it was fine .... more smoke and muzzle blast than I anticipated but recoil was not bad at all

a little while ago we received an email from UPS saying our shipment of 1,000 44 Special cases from Starline should be delivered tomorrow .... I can only wish they had of arrived a week ago .... at the time we only had 100 on hand and they are all loaded to take with us when we head for South Dakota Friday morning .... it sure would have been nice to have the time to load several hundred more to take with us
