Shot a defensive pistol match today. Because of schedule and personal commitments I haven't shot a match in about 2 months. I made up my mind I was going despite the poor weather forecast for today.
When I got to the range at about 8:15 am there was a light rain falling. By the time we were ready to start at 9:00 am there was a steady hard rain falling. The rain never let up for 5 stages. Sometimes heavy downpours and mostly just steady rain. Needless to say we all got soaked to the bone. Below is a picture of the last stage at about noon. You can see the puddles in the bay and a very wet squad.
All I know is it was a fun match and personally I felt I shot very well. Don't know the scores yet, but who cares. This is about having fun and even the rain can't dampen my spirits.
By the way thats me in the middle under the canopy. I was running the scoring Nook at the time and my shooting gear is under the black umbrella in the foreground.

Yeah that does look sloppy wet but you had some great fun! Rain and chilly wind all morning here too.

Fun has been in short supply lately.
