65 on its way to 88 later today, no chance of rain .... looking forward to linking up with Mike (The Wiz) today .... one of his grandsons has a baseball game in town today .... regular old eggs and bacon this morning .... Folgers flowing before, during and since .... watching "Escape to Athena" made in 1979, staring Roger Moore, Telly Savalas and David Niven
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
46 heading into the 60’s with an overcast sky. Looking to be a nice day. I’m planning on giving myself the day off and watching the PGA golf championship being played in South Carolina. The course is right on the beach (maybe on an island or peninsula) and man is that country beautiful. Unfortunately there are 20 - 30 mph winds which make play interesting. Watched some yesterday afternoon.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
It's 80° right now at 9:30. Supposed to get up to 89° with a 50% chance of rain later today. We didn't get as much rain last night as was forecast.
Just had cereal, toast and coffee. Going to the LGS to check for elusive primers a bit later.

Cloudy, low of 52 and a high of 70; it’s currently 68. Tree trimming on the agenda, hang the hammock chairs and mow. Everybody have a great day!

Hot & dry here, hit 98 today. Seems like Summer sneaked in under the radar. Mowed the yard today, mostly dust.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Up for church then a Legion meeting to discuss a new building, (I hope).
71 degrees, partly cloudy, light wind. Chance of thunderstorms today.
Got the pool apron all power washed yesterday, (Really hard on my back but it's done).
Now let the painting begin. (Between thunderstorms I guess).
Ya'll have a nice day.

41 heading to 70 with possible rain later this afternoon. Had a minor storm run by last evening. Distant thunder and nearby strong winds then some rain that lasted longer than I expected. Probably less than .1 of an inch but we’ll take what we can get.
More recliner time today watching the golf tournament from South Carolina. Yesterday’s play looked to be a run away from a 50 year old player showing the kids a thing or two. But.....he came back to the field and is only leading by one and will be paired up with a young guy who is a big time workout guy. So, the older “heavy” guy going head to head with the younger super fit guy. Should be a fun watch.

Great picture show. I have read all of Louie Lamoure's novels on the Sacketts. Great reads.
In fact I've probably read all of his novels. He and my Father both grew up in Jamestown, ND.
Wonder if they knew one another.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
It was about 73° and drizzling this morning. Made coffee, flapjacks, and bacon for breakfast. The general and I went to the range this morning. He wanted to try out his "first" reloads in his .308. He did pretty good keeping all his shots in a 6" target at 100 yards. I took out the Ruger M77 .280 that I put a new scope on. I'll post a range report.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
It would, but they are both long gone now. Dad was actually born in a hospital just over the border in South Dakota although Grandpa had a section of land near Jamestown where he grew wheat. Dad went to school in Jamestown until 29 when Grandpa lost it all and had to sell out. There were fourteen children and the oldest, Dad was third, had to go out on their own. He ended up cowboying on a ranch just north of Wall, SD. He was sixteen.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
its already in the upper 70's on its way to 91 with no rain today, a bit of a chance tomorrow .... regular breakfast with Folgers flowing through a Henry mug .... biggest things on tap for today are a trip to the county Sheriff's office for my wife to renew her CC Permit and both grandsons have their last T-ball game of the season tonight .... watching "The Quiet Man" made in 1952 staring John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara
