Do you have a preference for one made at one location over the over?

I have owned Henry's made both places. I never saw much difference in workmanship or accuracy. My Frontier is Bayonne made and I don't know if it is because it is a Frontier or the time it was built but it has a clear type finish that really shows the grain and the newer ones have that very dark chocolate looking finish that really hides the grain of the wood. My Frontier looks much better to me than any I have recently looked at. I am always in the market for a new Henry but I don't want to have to redo the finish.

The H001TLP I have was made in Bayonne last fall. My friend has an H001, which was made in Brooklyn in 2006. Both are quality-built, and also excellent shooters. Are any of the H001 models built at the Henry WI facility?

My H001 was made on 9-11-2002 in Brooklyn!
To my dismay, the rear sight dovetail is larger than 3/8", so the Marble Bullseye rear sight doesn't fit.
But that's ok now, my daughter got me a Simmons scope for Christmas!

I found the same thing but I just took a file to the Williams receiver sight mount. Then I ended up putting that particular receiver cover on a Mare's Leg.

Our 3 Henry's came from NJ. Being a Wisconsinite I had hoped the Henry I bought in January 2015 was a Rice Lake build. Only center fires are made in WI. Maybe I'll have to get a 45/70.

Is the H001 now made in Rice Lake?

Our sweet, tack driving, beautiful former Henry lever action RF rifles (Three) and one CF rifle were made in NJ.

ALL of them were wonderful rifles.

I may still get that one HENRY bolt action rifle. It is a lighter weight rifle and will work better for me.

My H004 was made in Brooklyn and my H001 was made in New Jersey. Both are beautiful in fit and finish and function perfectly.
I believe that the Brooklyn facility was located on 8th street in an area known as Park Slope.

Both of my children - Henry #1 and Henry #2 - were born in Bayonne.

I stripped the heavy brown finish off the H001T and found a beautiful walnut stock hiding underneath it. I would have done the same with the H003T, but I didn't want to tackle the 'cob' forend.

All of my .22 caliber Henry's were made in Brooklyn. Never had a problem with any of them.
H001 purchased in 1999
H004 purchased in 2001
H001TM purchased in 2009

The only Henry I have that was made in Bayonne is the Big Boy in .44 magnum

My BBS in .45-70 and my BBS .357 magnum were both made at Rice Lake. I had problems with the mag tube on the .45-70 but Henry redesigned the barrel and mag tube and upgraded mine.
