Heading out to some nursery’s to look for some type of hedge bushes. The new neighbors built their shop in an area we can see from our patio and we want to put a privacy hedge along the property line. We knew this day was coming and it’s now here.
Site seems to be OK. Load issue should be resolved now.
Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
42 heading to 70 with partly cloudy skies. Maybe 80’s by the weekend. We’re still running way above the average temps and the weather guy on the morning news said he has to keep adjusting his chart to allow for the higher temps. Still very dry with no rain on the horizon. Not looking good for the fire season.

It was 79° this morning at 7:00 a.m. Another very muggy and warm day with a bit of a chance of rain. Cereal, English muffin, and coffee.

I left Seattle at 6:30 this am on my way back to Colorado. Had a good day of travel for the most part. Hit a traffic jam in Boise Id as some big truck with a load of lumber must of mixed it up with a car and he scattered it all over I-84. That cost me about 45 minutes. Its 68 here in Burley Id where I have shut it down for the night. Had enough after 650 miles.

40, sunny, calm winds. We need rain.
Just some orange juice this morning so far. Once a month or so the neighbor and I
go out for breakfast. Just two guys, no wives. No stress. We take turns driving and
he who drives, picks the place, and the other one pays. I'm driving today.
Then I'll come home and do yard work. Also cleaning out the garage.

53 with light rain .... 53 is as high as its supposed to get and from the look of the weather radar, the rain is going to hang around most of the day .... this morning's breakfast included some of our home smoked sausage, eggs, sliced tomato and of course, Folgers .... as noted in another post, we picked up our Sportchassis this morning and are very happy to have it back in the driveway .... finishing up a couple of runs of strawberry jam is next on the agenda .... watching "300: Rise of an Empire" filmed in 2014m staring Sullivan Stapleton
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
40 heading to 70 with sunny skies. Got the sprinklers running overtime to keep the lawn watered. No rain for weeks and nothing in the forecast. We’re on a well and have to be very careful with watering to not over do it. Come on Ma nature.....gimme some rain!
Picking up six trees today, a hybrid Cedar that is a fast grower so more to water.
We are trying to put up a privacy “fence” between us and our new neighbors. (No issue with the new folks, we just like sitting on the patio and not seeing another building) We decided we would need way too many trees to accomplish what we want without waiting 10-15 years so we’re looking at putting a shed in place along with the six trees we bought yesterday. A guy can’t have too much storage space for “stuff”, right?

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
47 heading to 74 with maybe the mid 80’s this weekend. Still no rain but heard this morning maybe something for next week. Today I’ll be planting six red cedar hybrid trees that we’re using as a partial privacy fence. Brought them home yesterday and boy do they sure smell nice. Love Cedars.......supposed to be deer and drought resistant, hope that’s so.
Enjoying my Folgers for now with breakfast on tap in a bit.
Al, glad you’re home safe and sound.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Another day starting off quiet with a tasty cup of coffee brew. It's nice, or at least I sure like and appreciate living in a quiet green spot where you don't need to worry about being pulled down by dire wolves, eaten by cave bears, or strung up by a crazed king or dictator.... I have no starvation worries today. I have a comfortable house to get in out of the weather....its nice.
Sure, sure, a tornado could blow me away next week, or some idiot somewhere could shoot an atomic bomb at me... life has no guarantees... all the more reason to appreciate this quiet morning with my tasty cup of coffee.... its llike that Dave Ramsey guy says..... I'm doing better than I deserve. Hope all you out there in henry forum land are too.
