Re: Introduction
according to the diploma on the wall, my collegiate training was that of a coach and I still enjoy working with kids .... he has the attention span of a five year old .... in the few seconds he's focused he does listen and does try ..... that's better than I can say about some high school and a few college level players I've worked over the years

Re: Introduction
another day fishing with Landen .... today Mike (The Wiz) [first picture] went fishing with Landen and me at a friends pond ... it was hot .... OK, it was really hot but it didn't stop us from having a really good time .... at first Landen (age 5) was a bit reluctant to touch the fish .... within a couple of hours he was throwing them back and digging worms out of the box .... he caught a good many bream that were larger than my hand .... they gave him battles that brought really big smiles to his face that can be seen in the other pictures below

Re: Introduction
he was still excited while waiting on his school bus this morning .... like all true fishermen, overnight, the fish he caught have grown in size and the fight they put up

Re: Introduction
thanks for the kind words .... we are in the process of preparing him for a flight from NC to SD in a couple of weeks .... one of his quirks is he thrives on routine and adjusting to change can cause him some anxiety .... this weekend we hope to take him to the observation platform at RDU Airport and let him watch some takeoffs and landings
