If I ever get this rifle I'm going to.....

Post by fortyshooter » Thu May 06, 2021 2:11 pm

Nail it on the wall! The local USPS mail deliver person tried to deliver the rifle to my FFL dealer about 40 minutes BEFORE he opens up in the morning.
So it has to enjoy the rest of the day riding around in the Jeep until around 3:30 PM until he tries to deliver again! The PO knows that the shop doesn't open until 10 AM and this has happened before.
So I have to hang around all day waiting for the "come get it" phone call. What the heck it's only3 days late getting here!

The Evil Roy carbine is in the house....finally !

Always an adventure when the USPS is handling your gun purchase and I just picked it up at 3 PM this afternoon.

Looks very good and man what a sweet little carbine to handle and very nice light trigger too! Took it to my shop and cleaned the bore and seasoned with the Ballistol. All I need to do now is make up one of my hacksaw blade ghost ring sight inserts and be ready for range time.

If the USPS had to rely on themselves only instead of constantly being subsidized by US tax dollars they would have gone out of business a long time ago .
