he's curled up over on the couch wrapped in his favorite blanket watching his I-pad .... I've heard of them but don't know anything about them .... his Mom set it up with his programs ....

That is exactly how I got my TV back. Smart Mom.

Loaded up the monkey bread and banana bread, heading to granddaughters 1st Communion, 4 hour drive. Currently breezy and 46 and a high of 55, watching grandsons soccer game. Everybody have a great day

This is how I spent the rest of the day, after the soccer game, trying to keep 5 kids corraled and in sight and I don’t have any Irish for tonight

36º supposed to get 48º this afternoon. Scrambled eggs, prime New York Steak, sourdough toast and Costa Rican Coffee for breakfast. Now back to the welding up on the raised planters. Asking for quotes for gravel for the driveway, any advice for the material? Was thinking about crushed asphalt or M22 road gravel. I want something that is not going to jam up my snowblower like the crushed concrete the neighbor lady has.

56 on its way to 72 later today ..... yesterday's rain has moved on leaving a clear Carolina Blue Sky .... with yesterday's rain, two days worth of projects will have to be condensed into one .... our youngest son bought his first boat yesterday .... its parked in the back yard ... he and his family should be here today to transfer equipment from our old boat and to ready it for sale .... his new one will be parked under our shed .... regular breakfast has come and gone ...

43 and overcast. We had a nice all day on and off but mostly on rain yesterday. Greatly needed. Got most of my burning done with probably 3-4 hours to finish up today. Not currently raining but it’s very wet and humid out there so I’ll be getting to it shortly.

Enjoying some Black Silk for the moment but after reading Ernie’s breakfast menu of New York Steak (Prime) my Rasin Bran just isn’t going to cut the Mustard.

Ernie, I use 1 1/4” minus basalt for my driveway but it won’t stand up to a snow blower.

We have a quarry close by up at the cabin. We used what they call up there 'Road Bond'. Don't know what the chemical make up is, but it has packed down almost like asphalt over the years.

55 and having my third cup of the day. It's supposed to stay at 55.

The better half got her second Covid shot yesterday and is not feeling herself. I've stayed around to help but will go to the farm soon. I mowed yesterday and want to shed the grass off of the decks. I will start with the mower here first.

30s this morning. cloudy with rain, sleet, and snow predicted today. Supposed to be in the 70s tomorrow.
After church, brunch, and the place was crowded. Country fried steak, country fresh eggs over easy, hash browns and toast.
Got home and a really dear friend called. He lost his wife last Summer and is facing some health issues himself.
We talked for an hour and a half. He lives in southern Maryland near the bay. Old fishing and hunting partner from when we
lived in Virginia.
We talked about the old good times and our grand children. I miss him.
While we talked I looked out the window and not thirty feet away an immature barred owlet was sitting on a branch
watching me. We were just looking at each other for over an hour.
Is that some sort of a sign?

1st Communion is complete, taco bar at son’s house is done, traveling 4 hours back home. Partly cloudy with 25-30 mph winds and a high of 60. Everybody have a great day!

up and at'um early .... 56 on its way to 74 with no chance of rain .... we just got home from taking our Sportchassis to our local mechanic to have him find a leak in the truck's pressurized air system .... on our way back we filled Maureen's Camaro which we will leave shortly for just under a hundred mile round trip drive to northeast of Durham were we will get our second Covid shots .... Folgers flowing while sausage and eggs are frying .... once we get back home the next thing on our schedule is a 6PM T-Ball game ... .... watching "The Spirit of St Louis" made in 1957, staring James Stewart

43, overcast, windy. Supposed to get into the 60s today and rain till Wednesday off and on.
Had a grapefruit this morning. I used to eat them all the time and then the doc said not with staten drugs.
Just realized, the Mayo took me off statens. Hooray.
Now a cup of Black Silk and two cookies.

The baby owl stayed long enough for the grand kid to see it. Then it flew away.
It took Carol ten minutes of looking to find it even with me directing her where to look.

34 heading to the mid 60’s with a partly cloudy forecast.

Heading into town this morning to trade a guy a jar of honey and a bottle of wine for some 38 special ammo I’m looking for. It’s the Hornady Critical Defense Lite which is a standard velocity load using the 90 grain FTX bullet. Despite her objections I’m setting up a night stand gun for my wife. She has very small hands so I found her a Taurus M/856 which is a six shot 38 steel frame revolver but has a very small grip. Between the lite ammo and the 22 oz revolver is should be just the ticket for her.

Then to Wally’s to stock up on some more Folgers Black Silk and to the RV store for a few items. Leaving next Sunday for a short trip to Central Washington State.
