Earlier this year I had put a “notify me” when Graf and Sons got the Sierra .223 77 gr SMK back in stock. Well yesterday I got the notice at $18. Ish a box with a limit of 2. So I ordered two boxes but got a notice that Grafs now had a $40. Min order. I got a chuckle out of that because I was limited to buying two only but needed to buy three or more to hit the new minimum order. So I just added a can of Hornady One Shot Case Lube and got the order placed.
A few weeks ago I bought two boxes at a local store for $26. So at $18 each plus $10 for shipping it was still cheaper.
Oh how I pine away for 2019.......

Oh, oh! Loaded up some 30-30's. What could that possibly mean? 170gr Hornady Interlock FN, 33.0gr Win 748 and a CCI mag primer.
Well, looks like a desert shoot to me! Not sure what day, but, it's fast approaching. 30-30, 30-06, a couple of .45 Colts; oh, this gonna be an over night deal me thinks!
Interesting use for the mag primer. You find that burns that load best (or just the one you have on hand)?
I use the mag primer with 748 only. It's a ball type powder, so, helps with ignition. Seemed to help with accuracy also. The MV in my Mod 94[20" barrel], avg is 2,025 fps. It's a good load.
Randy, you have any 748? Mag primers work well with that powder in 30-30's.
Yes I do have a little bit, probably less than half a pound, but
I will try them next time I load some 30-30's.

Thank ya.

FYI, we have been talking about Missouri Bullets quite a bit on different threads. Ship time is around 12 to 16 weeks.
HOWEVER: I made an order yesterday for 180 grain .357 Striker Pugnose bulletts and was just notified THEY SHIPPED TODAY !
I still have two pending orders made a couple of months ago for my 45/70 and 9mm, but the PUGNOSE shipped in a day.

Was running low on 45 Colt loads so I put together 300 rounds. I'm never happy unless I see 400-500 rounds, of any caliber, sitting on the shelf.

Bought Al’s 308 dies. Hoping to combine them with a new press. The reloading horizon is expanding. 6.5 is next. Yeah Mark, I’m getting closer to that new build. Waiting on the barrel.
Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

That's a very popular bullet here lately, this forum alone buys quite a number.
I have somewhere like 7-800 on hand, plus some loaded.
I did run a bunch of 45 colts through through the pins.
Need to load some the deck out back has been a little busy.
