Saturday gun show
I went to a gun show Saturday at Centre Hall, Pa. It was a busy show especially after the shower threat moved on. Temperature check at the gate and mask required. This is the only show I have ever went to that I never even had any interest in looking at guns. Kept an eye out for Leupold scopes but the pricing was really high if they were in nice condition and were older gloss finished models. Leupold is missing out by catering to the tactical guys and forgetting about the shooters with nice gloss blued rifles they would like to match the scope to the rifles finish. I did sell 5 cans of SK Magazine 22 and a few boxes of ammo I rarely shoot for enough to replace it with 6 bricks of SK Standard Plus. I came out better on the deal. Got a better grade of ammo plus an extra 500 round brick of ammo and only spent $5 over what I got for the SK Magazine.

Gotta love a good ammo deal. Especially in today’s market.

Re: Saturday gun show
Good for you, bandit. I think this latest price increase by Leupold on their current scopes is pushing up the price on the used Leupolds all the more. Definitely a seller's market on the used Leupolds right now.
As for the gloss Leupolds, I don't see any other brands offering gloss scopes now, either. Of course, the market for high gloss guns ain't what it used to be, so there's that.

Re: Saturday gun show
All types of long guns. Pretty fair amount of hand guns. I didn't pay attention to the guns but my friend I went with said everything was high priced. I didn't see many folks leave with a gun except the ones that carried one in and back out. It was nice to get out again. I will like it better when they go to out side shows. I don't need any guns but probably would be hard to pass on a real deal for something I really like.

Re: Saturday gun show
Glad you found a deal Bandit. I quit going to gun shows years ago for the same reason. High prices and you pay admission to look at the high prices.
