Heard on the news this morning that the tax filing deadline has been extended into May. Didn’t catch the date.........just saying......Shakey Jake wrote: ↑Wed Apr 14, 2021 10:50 am76° but only headed to 81° with a 50% chance of rain. It's really muggy outside with the humidity at 90%. May 17, but I want to go ahead and get it done. I got my mother's (deceased) final tax return completed and mailed. I got mine started and will finish it tomorrow.Hatchdog wrote: ↑Wed Apr 14, 2021 10:59 amHeard on the news this morning that the tax filing deadline has been extended into May. Good morning, sippin coffee, and checked the temps, it's 52° at the moment.
Calling for it to be mid 60's later with full Sun.
Old brass, I'm about ready to get mine out, getting over a surgery, and need to get back up to strength.
Riding the exercise bike daily and it's helping a bunch.

Yeah I hear you. Yesterday I paid my property taxes which usually are due on April 30th. When doing so I noticed we had an extension until the end of May. Since I had already budgeted the cost and the funds were in the account I went ahead and paid them anyway. I just joked with my wife had I not done so probably she would have gone clothes shopping and I would have bought a new gun.
39 heading to a very nice 66 with 70’s still in the forecast for the weekend. Heading to the Doc here shortly for a brief visit for an A1C test then I’m taking a break from outdoor work and playing golf. Probably get some breakfast on the way home from the Doc.
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather

Season has started to change for us down under, leaves are turning and we had our first few nights with temps below freezing earlier in the week. Days are still good with temps in the mid to high 60's just about perfect hunting weather if I can find the time.

I thought they took all your guns. What do you hunt with?

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Depends what I am chasing and what takes my fancy at the time.
Currently have 17HM2, 17HMR, 22lr, 22WMR, 222, 220swift, 240wby, 6.5cm, 30/30, 303, 327FM, 357mag, 375H&H, 44mag, 45/70, 410, 20 & 12ga. Probably missed a couple but think I have something to cover everything from mice to buffalo. They wont licence handguns for hunting so no point in listing them but handguns are still readly available for target shooting.
Everything 6mm and up apart from the 327 has been used to take deer.
