It was a beautiful day today, the sun was shining and it was close to 60 degrees so I gave the 357-X it's first good workout. I took along both factory rounds & reloads, it didn't seem to make any difference although I had a few hangups with each which wasn't surprising and I'm sure it was more me than the new rifle. I really like the factory sights and did well with them freehand at 30-40 yards and that's probably all I'm going to ask of it. (If I want to shoot 100+ yards there are other guns in the safe for that.) I plan on leaving it stock but I need to check on getting leather wraps for the lever as it's a little harder on the backs of my fingers that the .22lr.
My overall impression is that it's short & light, easy to maneuver with very little recoil. It is a fun gun to shoot!

Yes the Henry 357 rifles and carbines are great shooters! Sounds like you did well with yours.
