Brand of Covid Vaccine

Post by JEBar » Fri Mar 12, 2021 10:56 am

our daughter had a Dr's appointment this morning for some lab work .... her doctor asked her if she'd had her shot and she replied no .... they had 2 doses of Moderna on hand and gave her one .... she said it was the easiest shot she's ever had .... she goes back April 9th .... since we are due to get home April 1st, there is no doubt we will be up early to get our grandson on his school bus on the 9th .. ;)

We both got our second Moderna, yesterday, and, like the first, nothing more than some slight soreness in the arm. No soreness, today, at all.

we are scheduled to arrive back home 15 days from now (April 1st) .... arrangements have been made for us to get our shots right after we get back .... the arrangement is for us to call a day or two before we get home and schedule a time and place .... for us, that is a relief

Just got home from getting J&J (Jansen) as it's a one shot deal and we need to travel and be in the public in a month.

Been playing a hermit for 13 months (and I liked it!)

I wonder what the ratio is of people who take the vaccine and still get Covid to the number of people who don't take the vaccine and get Covid!
I used to have an internet friend whose signature was..."What this world needs is a good plague!"
She got her wish. She said it would solve the traffic problem, the overpopulation problem, etc.
She got Covid and died before the vaccines were available. May she RIP.

Got my first Pfizer shot a couple of hours ago. Lots of driving around many traffic cones but didn't even need to get out of my car. Took about 45 minutes including the 15 minute wait after the shot.

My understanding is if you get a Co-vid vaccination you may still get Co-vid but very rarely will it be serious enough to require hospitalization or cause death. Still lots of people without vaccinations are dying from it every day.

My wife received her second shot of Pfizer on Wednesday, no sore arm but felt tired, had the chills Wednesday night. Thursday she was tired with a slight fever and chills. Slept well Thursday night and now she is feeling better and going to be baking today and Saturday. Happy Easter everyone.

I’m still waiting on the J&J vaccine. People tell me I don’t have a choice but I do. It’s J&J for me or nothing.

Sounds like you could of had some Gene if they wouldnt of thrown 15 million doses in the trash because some one messed up.

Saw that. Not a good recommendation.

Well, we were supposed to get the Phizer, which is the one I preferred, but when we got there this morning, it was "Moderna Day".
we were originally told we would be getting Moderna but my wife just called and was told that when we get there in the morning it will be Pfizer .... frankly, either one of them is fine with us

80 yr. old neighbor across the street got his 2nd dose of the Moderna a few days ago and he told me he felt nothing different even his arm wasn't sore.
Wife and I get our 2nd dose of same on April 16.
