Old RR cross ties getting ex$pensive too !

Post by fortyshooter » Thu Apr 01, 2021 10:40 am

A rural building supply store in my area sells the used rail cross ties and last year or so they were 13.95 per tie.
Called this morning and they said they were out of stock and used to be 21.95 per tie. Expecting another delivery in a month and they said a price increase most likely !! Forget those for cheap range use!

Just proves that "everything " even remotely connected to guns & shooting has gone sky hi.

Been there, done that. We had red cobs & white cobs. Red cob first, then use the white cob to see if you needed another white one.

About the same thing you can do with that stimulus check. If you ever get it. Was watching the Rifleman while riding the bike in the basement today. Things made sense then

Actually we were more patriotic. We had red, white, and blue. Use the red, then the white to see if you needed the blue. :o

Had 2 loads of screened sand delivered. 10 ' wide at base. Works well and seems to stand up to weather. Around $150 delivered.
Yep either sand or fill dirt as both are available 2 miles from my range area.
