Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Good to hear it turned out ok, Jake. Mine did too, still itches a bit, now & then, LOL. I can live with that.
Take care, pard.

I have a fair amount, but if they were to become available at a reasonable price I would snatch up a few.cooperhawk wrote: ↑Thu Mar 25, 2021 4:30 pmPrimers are a problem. I am looking for some small pistol.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Good morning, 45°here at home in central W TN, back home this morn.
They found the leak yesterday evening, and will repair this morn.
I'm headed back and will re-flash another area.
Suppose to get more rain tomorrow, so we'll check and make sure.
Then I will replace the ceiling in their back porch, and hopefully wrap up this project.

27, overcast and windy this AM.
Folgers and cereal.
Plumbing today.
Tried to start the motor home yesterday afternoon and it wouldn't start.
Turned over fine, but no fire. Turned on the block heater and put a charger on the
batteries and will try again today. May have to either it, but hate to.
It's a Caterpillar 3126B diesel. It's been sitting for a year now thanks to Covid.

25 heading to 50 with a hard frost and upper fog. Feels like November.
looking at a nice sunny day today and lasting thru Sunday. Then Sunday evening we are expecting high winds with gusts to 55 mph. Batten down the hatches!
Down to the last mega Costco sized Folgers Classic Roast and then I’m planning on switching to Black Silk. Too bad Costco doesn’t sell it as their price on the Classic Roast is fantastic and it goes on sale frequently.

28F right now, 50 later. Off to Lethbridge with the wife, a little shopping, breakfast, and I will hit a little shop called Marksman. They sometimes have #11 caps and I need a couple of new copper brushes.

Folgers and cereal this morning. Overcast and 35 degrees. Light rain today.
Going into town for lunch today and then to pick up one plumbing connection
that I still need. I have everything roughed out and now only need to start
gluing it all together.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
I received this from a friend this morning. It is simply amazing. I found a guy from my home town
right away.
VIETNAM WALL--THIS IS AMAZING!
Please read first!!!!!!
This is really sobering. First click on a state. When it opens, scroll down to the city where you went to high school and look at the names. Click on the name and it will give details of the person's death, a picture or at least their bio and medals.
This really is an amazing web site. Someone spent a lot of time and effort to create it.
I hope that everyone who receives this appreciates what
those who served in Vietnam sacrificed for our country.
Pass the link on to others, as many knew wonderful
people whose names are listed.

Awoke to a warm 71°. Should get up to the lower 80's today. A bit more humid as it's overcast. Cereal, toast and coffee. Going to the local LGS to see if they have gotten any more primers in after they open up.

already 73, on its way to 83 later today on the banks of Lake Conroe .... the forecast is calling for stray thunderstorms .... regular sausage, egg and Folgers breakfast .... watching "The Fighting 69th" filmed in 1940, staring James Cagney and Pat O'Brine
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
30 heading to the 50’s with the chance of some sun today. Partly cloudy right now. My wife has instructed me that I will be power washing the outside of the house as she has a guy coming on Tuesday to wash windows. So I guess I’ll be power washing the house today.
Big wind storm coming in Sunday afternoon so by Tuesday the windows will definitely need a cleaning.
Enjoying my Folgers now with breakfast happening soon as I’m getting hungry.
