Only one, but...it is a Winchester 1894 in .30WCF mfg. in 1908 with a nickel steel Octagon barrel. It is a Sporting Rifle with a 26" barrel that looks like a cold bluing job was attempted to achieve a patina, but it did not come out well. It is a solid frame and not a take down. It has a brass crescent butt. The stock had many nicks, gouges and nicks. I sanded it and did some filling in, Ebony black stain and then a clear coat. The receiver was in great shape except for two holes that were probably used for mounting a scope. Found some matching screws and looks great. Capacity is 9 + 1.
It is not a collector, but a shooter. Proper way to shoot a crescent butt is to hold elbow perpendicular to your body then place the butt just on the inside of your bicep. This rifle is a work in progress.

Oh, wait. I forgot all about my Henry .30-.30. Purchased in Oct. 2015, when it first came out. I got an email about them coming out and I marched down to Scheels Sporting Goods in Sparks, NV and ordered one, delivered the next day with serial #...500! AWESOME!
Octagon barrel and a CCH steel receiver. I also put a Henry Large Loop Lever on it.
So I really have two. The 1894 Winchester mfg. in 1908 (see earlier post) is actually a .30 WCF (same difference) and my Henry.

I currently only have a Pre-64 M/94 30-30 that belonged to my dad. I remember as a young kid going with him when he bought it from a private party, probably a work buddy. We stopped and shot it on the way home and that was my first experience with a firearm.

I’ve had a couple of Marlin 336’s but the one I had that I miss the most was a Win M/64 in 30 WCF. The 64 was a rifle length barrel with the 2/3 length mag tube and a curved pistol grip. In my opinion the nicest lever actions have a pistol grip. Foolishly sold it.

I will be adding a Henry 30-30 to my collection as I have plans to give that Pre 64 94 to one of my nephews.

Im not bashing a 30-30 by any means. I have shot both and I think 30-30 lovers need to take a long hard look at 38-55. There is a world of difference in shooting those 2 and 38-55 is a recoil sensitive persons caliber. Not to mention if one reloads its straight wall case and cast bullet friendly. Shooting cast in 30-30 is a challenge.

As a kid I bought a used Marlin in 30-30, didn’t like it. Trade to a guy for a Hawken .50 cal BP, love that rifle!
