Our Morning Coffee and Weather

Dentist apt this morning for a crown......about the price of a new Henry.

Dentists are expensive that's for sure. Since I got my implants I don't worry about crowns anymore,
but my dentist now has a 3D printer that makes all his crowns. Interesting. I saw it working one
day and he said it takes several hours, but they turn out perfect.
The next generation of printers will make dentures he says.

That and the 3D circular X-Ray machine are fantastic.

65 on its way to 74 later today .... look up and you'll see a solid blanket of gray clouds .... look at the weather radar and there ain't a cloud within a couple of hundred miles .. .. eggs, bacon and Folgers, in short a regular start of the day .... watching "The Navajo Kid" made in 1945, staring Bob Steele .... I never have been a big Bob Steele fan

64 ° this morning on the dog walk. Gotten warm enough to not have to wear a jacket in the mornings. Supposed to rain later today. I haven't checked but suppose it will get up to almost 80 if the clouds hang around. Made bacon, flapjacks and coffee for breakfast. Yeah, my crown was a bit over 1200. I could have used that money to buy a good .44 magnum or a sleeve of primers on GB!

Good morning from Saltillo, 61° here and raining pretty good. We are trying to find a roof leak, and so far the water hasn't made it's way inside.

The rain is done. 32 and sunshine this morning with a nice week ahead.
Folgers and oat cereal.
I'll do a little plumbing today and then this afternoon go and pick up our Grandson.

34 heading to mid 40’s with overcast skies. Today is a transition day to nicer weather. Yesterday we had a sustained rain/snow/hail day that put a good amount of moisture in the ground. We needed it so thanks.

Coop, my dentist makes crowns in-house with a CNC machine that is pretty incredible. First the assistant took digital pictures of the old tooth and after it was ground down for the crown the dentist took additional pics of the remaining post. These pics were sent to the CNC machine for programming. I was able to watch the crown get cut which was very interesting. The cutting machine (don’t know what to call it) has two cutters 180 opposite each other. The crown material is a blank mounted on a metal base and the cutters simultaneously cut both the outside shape of the tooth and the inside cavity for mounting on the remaining post in my mouth. When done there is a small spru remaining which is cut by hand. The blank is a light purple color and the assistant told me she will put a “glaze” on it which will match the color of my other teeth. 29 minutes for the milling.

Pretty darn amazing. I can also say that the Oral Surgery is so much different that I barely felt any pain during or after.
Somehow they put a long lasting pain killer into the wound during the surgery. I had two impacted wisdom teeth removed
years ago and remember how much that hurt. This time was a piece of cake.

Here's a photo of the finished cabinet for the motor home. The drawers came out of the motor home for comparison.
I was advised to make the cabinet finish a little lighter as cherry will darken over time.

Not morning by any means but it was 69° and overcast. Right now it's79°. Had some cereal and toast this morning and then headed to the dermatologists to have the stitches removed from my head (skin cancer removed). I was glad to get those things out as they were really starting to bother me. Got some bullets in today from Brownells for the .223. Still can't find primers. I do have enough for a while.
