I didn't do anything while she was gone, that I wouldn't do when she's at home.
But that doesn't mean that I was behaving.

Re: What's for supper?
Carol made a soup last night that has milk, cream, crab, fish, shrimp, and sherry in it. It's a creamy soup and I love it.

Re: What's for supper?
Never have cared much for any beer. On a hot day I can drink a very cold beer, if it gets at all warm I can't drink it. Now make it a red beer made with Clamato or V-8 and a little Frank's hot sauce and salt and I love them.
Also never cared much for wine but on a recent trip to Olive Garden got a bottle of Moscato and have developed a taste for it, it is a pretty sweet wet wine, still don't care for anything dry.

My wife has gotten me hooked on that as well. We use to drink Asti Spumante by Martini and Rossi. But, I have not seen it on the shelf in awhile. Moscato does have a similar taste.dave77 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 9:03 pmNever have cared much for any beer. On a hot day I can drink a very cold beer, if it gets at all warm I can't drink it. Dave77, down here in the Texas hayfields we call draft beer and tomato juice "Red Draws" After a long hot day, We would go to the local cafe and order a chicken fried steak that was as big as the platter it was on and pitchers of red draws and salt it down pretty good. Good times.

We cannot get Yuengling's here in the Twin Cities area. We've asked if they could order it and they
don't know what it is.

I did not know either, until I came to Virginia. Now, it has became my favorite. I guess it is kind of a Eastern thing?cooperhawk wrote: ↑Mon Mar 22, 2021 6:13 pmWe cannot get Yuengling's here in the Twin Cities area. We've asked if they could order it and they

Yep, after a long day in the hay field, you can eat or drink just about anything.MuddyWaters62 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 22, 2021 11:42 amDave77, down here in the Texas hayfields we call draft beer and tomato juice "Red Draws" After a long hot day, We would go to the local cafe and order a chicken fried steak that was as big as the platter it was on and pitchers of red draws and salt it down pretty good.
