1998 Henry Repeating Arms Catalog

Post by Sir Henry » Sat Mar 20, 2021 8:15 pm

Since I’m selling a few firearms I thought I would look through my files for receipts. I came across this original catalog. My first H001 was made in 1999.

Would anyone care to guess what rifles were available?

Actually the GB was the very first HRA soon to be followed by the Classic (and youth), Pump, Mini Bolt (youth) and the Henry AR-7 all in .22LR/L\S. Only the Classic was available in .22WMR.

Would anyone care to guess the price of an H001 in this catalog?

Sixteen years later, in April 2014, I bought my very first firearm, a new Henry H001 Classic .22LR rifle. I paid $349 at Cabela's; the following week it went on sale for $300 and they honored the lower price by refunding the difference.

“Load on Sunday shoot all week long”. I remember that line from some of the early TV commercials.

Spiegel catalog, wow speaking of remembering.

If you load shorts instead of longs you can shoot all month.

My first Henry rifle was the H001 and it was made in 1999 and I purchased it at a local Walmart on 12/3/1999. It remains my grandkids favorite rifle to shoot when they visit grandpa.

The earliest Henry catalog I have is a 2003. In additions to .22 caliber and .17 caliber rifles, it shows the Big Boy Brass .44magnum/.44 special.
