410 shotgun first time shooting it
410 shotgun first time shooting it
Took my new Henry 410 to a range for the first time. The very first round got hung up and jammed. I don't think it was anything other than me not being aggressive enough with the lever. Once that was resolved, every shot was a pleasure. I was shooting some Remington target loads and got some real nice patterns at about 20 yards. Trigger was smooth and light with almost no recoil. My only regret was not having more ammo. Absolutely, thoroughly enjoyed shooting this gun.

Haven't shot one of those but the 410 can be a handy one for fun and critter control. Welcome and great that you could get out and shoot it!

Risbee, which model did you get? The h0018 is fun to shoot. I wish it was a little lighter but being over built, it will never wear out. I have some slugs and target loads coming soon. Good times ahead.

I bought the H018G-410,24 inch barrel with the side gate. A sweet shooting gun.
