Vaccine shots around our town are like primers....you hear about them but never see any! No rush to get one yet. I hear on local news how they are focusing on the inner cities to get the vaccine out in a big city 20 miles up the road but nothing here but sounds of cricketts.

we have been told that the best way to get setup for our shots when we return home is to call the local Walgreen's Pharmacy (where we have gotten our flu, shingles, and other shots over the years) and get an appointment set with them .... we plan to call them during our ride home, two or three days before we are due to get there

Just got my first one today (Pfizer). Now maybe my wife won't be complaining about me not getting one.

Pfizer CEO says probably will have to have an annual shot. I ain't gettin' one now or anytime in the future. It's all a bucket of conflicting info and assorted other stink weed. :x

And the FDA sez you need a 3rd booster.

Got my first one today. Didn't even feel the shot. Been 4 hours and not even any stiffness, felt more with the flu shot. I was trying to get one through the County Health Departments and was not having any luck. I live on the dividing line of two counties and Berrien County, (which covers the town I live next to) will not provide vaccine to anyone outside of that county. However, Rite Aid, the supermarket, Sams Club, and Meijer all offer vaccines and don't care where you live. I got mine today in Indiana which is 12 mines away and they were fine with the fact that I am a Michigan resident. No charge, just show an insurance card or Medicare part B. Would recommend trying commercial businesses if you are looking.

Talked to my brother today and he told me that his daughter and son-in-law got their 2nd vaccine shot last week and both were very sick for 3 days with 101.5 temp, chills and body aches. My brothers doctor told him to wait for the J&J vaccine. Think me and wife will do the same.
My 82 yr. old sister has had the first one and scheduled for the second shot March 10. The word is the first shot is a primer for your immune system and the last shot the real deal....hammer!

Been a week (minus one day) since my wife got her 2nd and she’s doing great. No adverse affects at all.

Still waiting on Johnson & Johnson. In the meantime I’m not going many places. With Amazon, Natchez and Home Depot I may never have to leave the compound.

According to what I have read the more reaction your body has to it the better it is getting your immune system ready for exposure to the virus. Guess everyone has a different reaction.

That's what I've read also. The nurse who gave me my second shot mentioned the second one seems to hit younger people harder than older folks and it does effect people differently. Science at work.

MS (and Texas) have lifted all covid restrictions. I expect there will be many more States doing the same in the next few days. :D

Excerpt:

JACKSON, Miss. —

Gov. Tate Reeves is lifting mask mandates and allowing businesses to operate at full capacity without any state-imposed rules.

The governor’s latest executive order replaces the one that expires at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
COVID-19 vaccine: Where to get the shot and who is eligible in Mississippi

"Today, I signed what I expect will be one of my last executive orders regarding COVID-19. Our hospitalizations have plummeted, and our case numbers have fallen dramatically as well. In fact, our case numbers have fallen to the point where no county meets the original criteria for a mask mandate," Reeves said during a briefing Tuesday.

I hope the Alberta gov't is paying attention and cuts the BS here. We are in stage 2 of re-opening but man it's a slow process. So many people out of work on fed gov't handouts that they'll never be able to pay the tax on when the feds call in their markers.

We just got our appointments to soon take the Phizer shots.

What are your opinions out there on the Phizer shots? Pro, Con, etc.

Thanks
