I've got the unit up in the shop and bench tested it. It works just fine and I contacted the company for the second camera,
and it came two days alter. Wireless up to forty feet they claim.

Hey JE, I took the system out to the barn today and tested it. I set the display on the dash and used the cigar lighter plug they include to power it up.
Then I set the camera up well behind the Motorhome in the dark and used my trickle charger to power it up and, Walla, the picture was loud and clear.
Now all I have to do is pair the second camera to the display and mount it all permentely.

I'm pretty happy with it.

Well, folks, this has been a strange week. Aside from the skin cancer thing, and passing along a bunch of ammo. I've had two unusual,
or rather unexpected events, since.
Yesterday, I went to Burger King to grab a bite, there was a line at the drive thru. A car with a woman & guy coming in from a side street. Since I wasn't in a hurry, thought they might be, I motioned her to go in front of me. She waved back & went on. So, I get to the pay window, the woman gets out of her car, comes back to me, hands me $4 + change, said she wanted to pay half my meal for
being a gentleman & letting her go first. She said she had had a really bad day & that helped. Couldn't talk her out of it, so I thanked her & went on.
Then today, I went to Ruby Tuesdays to eat. Was sitting there having my meal, wearing my Retired Army cap as I always do, this guy walks by & thanks me for my service. I told him I appreciate it. When my waitress came by for my tab, she said the guy had paid for my meal. He was already gone, so I couldn't thank him.
Heck of a coincidence?

very warm 69 degree foggy, foggy morning on Lake Conroe .... they say its not raining so it must be the moisture in the fog that you feel instantly when you step outside .... a regular breakfast is history .... watching "Two Mules For Sister Sara" .... when its over we have to get out and get started on what will be a busy morning

Fog haze wet feels like we are and have been with the cajuns in the swamps. High humidity here and I dont see a break for another day or two. Moving tomorrow to another spot for 6 days and then on to the next frontier. 66 overnight and headed to 70. Light breeze currently.

30 and cloudy which is a bit disappointing after yesterdays full day of bright sunshine. Looking at a pretty nice week temp wise but cloudy.

Only project on tap for today is mounting the scope on my new 41 and maybe putting some trail loads together. I’m currently limited to H110 and Hornady 210 gr XTP’s so I’ll make those work for the time being.

If there was a Hall of Fame for Grandpa’s you would be in it. Hurts just thinking about sleeping in a fort which I assume meant sleeping on the floor.

Got up early for church as usual. 33 degrees and rain. I was worried it would turn to ice, but it didn't
and we got home safely. Church is 20 miles away.
Farm fresh eggs, bacon, and pancakes for brunch. Often times we stop in town, but not today.
This is supposed to clear out this afternoon and then turn colder over night, but next week looks warm and sunny.

It's Carol's birthday today. Well, not really, she was born on Feb. 29 you see, so it's every four years.
Yeah, I tried to get away with that. NOT!

Got her a card that says, "For the Woman Who's Always Right",
but when you open it it says, "Beside me. I love you". She got a chuckle out of that.
