What's for supper?
Re: What's for supper?
Last night was grilled New York steak and twice baked potatoes. Cherry pie for desert. Big steak so we grilled one and cut it in half.

Re: What's for supper?
There's a beef roast in the crock pot and it smells really strong.
Carol likes a heavy beefy flavor so she adds bouillon to everything.
I'm not that big of a fan.

I've always have been a leg and thigh man. My grandmother always said the best tasting meat always lies against the bone. She was right IMO. Love fried chicken. Was a beautiful day today. A bit windy, but warm.

I agree! Have always been a dark meat poultry eater. Much more juicy and tasty.

zucchini and onions sauteed in butter and Kikkoman Soy Sauce, corn on the cob, fried chicken strips seasoned wth Buffalo hot sauce and ranch dressing .... the corn on the cob was pretty enough but it sure was tough .... headed toward being feed corn .... that's the last we will buy until spring

Fish basket and cole slaw at a local restaurant. Wife had shrimp and it was better than my fish.

Re: What's for supper?
Well, I don't doubt that at all. Between shell fish and just...fish...I would go for the shrimp every time.

Re: What's for supper?
Didn’t get to making the spaghetti sauce I was going to make. So it was grilled cheese and the tomato soup.

The roast beast came out pretty good. It had onions, carrots,
and potatoes cooked slowly with it.

Re: What's for supper?
That’s funny, we did exactly that a couple days ago. Stood in line for a couple of hours for my wife to get her second Covid shot right at lunch time. So on the way home we decided to stop and have a big lunch meal and skip dinner. That worked fine and yesterday morning I got hungry for breakfast about an hour earlier than normal. I remember thinking why is that and then recalled that we skipped dinner. Did have a piece of that cherry pie tho......
