Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Come on man, stop sending that stuff my way. Bright sunshine right now and thirties, but the weather gal
says by noon we'll have that freezing rain. Darn it, I'm tired of it.
Think I'll sneak over to the range before it hits. Need to burn some powder.

27 heading to the upper 30’s. Had a nice meltdown yesterday with 40+ temps, light rain and wind. A great snow eating combination indeed! Maybe another 2-4” of snow on Thursday so winter still has it’s grip on us. The ground is still frozen so most of yesterdays melt is still sitting on the surface.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
its another beautiful day on the banks of Lake Conroe .... in about 10 minutes the campground will be turning off the water to repair pipes damaged by our recent spell of dangerously cold temps .... a bit of a treat for breakfast ... eggs fried as usual with fall off the bone meat from left over baby back ribs ... the pork literally fell off the bone ... ... watching "The Man Who Never Was" that was made back in 1956

Up in the 60's for next couple of days with whatever you call that big bright yellow thing in the sky. Still super wet around here being way above average rainfall for this time of year. Going down to my mud range maybe tomorrow or Thursday.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Drank my coffee and went to the range. Still not raining, but 37 and overcast.
Lots of snow at the range and the hills are a bit slippery, but no mishaps.
There were a few other stalwarts there as well and had some good discussions about the
life of the gun club. Things are looking good for the future.
Burned through a few clips of 9mm and then came home to take Carol to lunch.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Feeling more like mid autumn than late summer down under. 50 this morning going for a high in the mid 70s.
Long term average for March is 10 days with temps above 95 we are lucky to have had 10 days above 95 all summer.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Good morning, 48° here and headed to 68°, we made 70° yesterday and they were only predicting mid 60's.
We might break 70° today, which would be fine by me, heck if it didn't get below that from now till fall would be just fine by me.
After work yesterday I took the scooter to be serviced, and to get the clutches change.

18 heading to a forecasted day of 40 and sunny. Enjoy it while I can cuz there is more snow forecast for tomorrow, 2-3 inches so not much. Off the the dentist this morning for a routine cleaning. New dentist as my old one retired during the Covid shutdown.
Had my first fire in the stove in several days and it feels great.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Coop;
If you like a strong but smooth morning coffee, you need to try Folger's Black Silk. I have been drinking this for a very long time. I have always been a fan of good strong coffee. My folks always have been. My grand dad would sit around a campfire and take a tin cup and pour himself a cup of boiling coffee and drink it straight up. I don't know if he had any taste buds left. I'm not that extreme.
